To protect and to serve your country and your innocent countrymen against those who wish to harm them is a challenging and fulfilling responsibility. Soldiers from across the globe actively adopt this role with courage and diligence. Sadly, some soldiers lay their lives in this path. We have all witnessed this in recent history: American, Pakistani, and numerous other soldiers from across the world have sacrificed themselves in the war against violent extremists and defending their innocent countrymen from becoming targets for terrorists. On May 25th, 2015 we, in the United States, will dedicate a day honoring the memory of our fallen heroes, and express our compassion and gratitude towards their loved ones who they left behind. Let us take a moment to pay respect and think of all those soldiers who have paid the ultimate price.
