What's new

In light of recent events, the real reason why US won't leave afghanistan directly from an American.

But the trillions were spent when they were in power.
Because America is smarter than you. America knows patriotic Pakistanis will ultimately prevail against all foreign puppet regimes. America is wise to not rely on their feeble nawaz and Bhutto types and instead to spend trillions in Afg. But be assured, both schemes will fail. Buying out corrupt politicians will fail as our patriots continue to remove such individuals from power. The Afg gambit is harder to counter esp with your lot sticking your noses in. But be assured, we are on the case.

[wikileaks says] (fake sayyad) Zardari sought US help against Gen. Kayani (in exchange for guess what) luckily some top US soldier grassed on him to Pakistan defense establishment thus the conspiracy was exposed

An arrest warrant was issued against Kamran Kayani in January 2019 when Zardari was not in power.

If the American's were smart, they would have started Afghanistan today rather than 20 years ago. Would have saved trillions. That is assuming they were after Pakistan.

In fact with IMF they don't really need to be in Afghanistan to go after Pakistan.

Taliban is responsible for sabotaging ongoing talks with its voilent tactics and behavior.

Why blame Donald Trump? Why not blame real culprit? Who advised Taliban to attack cities and kill people while talks were happening and a deal was in the view?

This habit of blaming others for everything that goes wrong, is absolutely negative and wrong.

Scores of people were mistaking Trump's political flexibility in relation to Afghanistan as a sign of weakness and defeat, and were openly touting as such.

In reality, US is militarily stronger than ever before and can wipe Afghanistan clean if it desire. This is what people want to see? Think about what lay in store for Pakistan as well.
Taliban don't have any cease fire agreement, just few days ago NDS killed 4 Afghans, scores of Afghans are killed by Afg Forces and their allies but there is no fuss about it.

Anyone in those whole game can't say that other faction is more violent then their's.

they the Americans have two ways 1) the dignified way to exit 2) the chittrol way to exit its for them to choose.so

Peaceful environment is essential for ongoing talks to succeed and a deal to materialize in the first place. This much was openly conveyed to Taliban delegations during the course of talks.

Picture yourself on the negotiation table. Would you carry on with talks while your opponent is shooting at you?

Tit-for-tat violent behaviors.

Good luck with option # 2. Let us see which entity have the power to throw US out of Afghanistan.

Secondly, think about implications for Pakistan. Drill this fact in your mind that US is stronger than ever before.

They came in by Force invaded free people
Killed civilians and combatants in hundreds of thousands raped thousands of women cruelly jailed 10s of thousands and now they are asking for a conducive atmosphere?

US is stronger than ever before.
An economic depression is around the corner sir let's see who stands and falls at the end of it.

Whole nations have to re Learn the lessons they have already learned again and again?

America is only about the "American way of life" aka American consumerism. Deprive Americans of that and see how patriotism and Union of states go down the drain.

.
Also , consider Mattis's comments about Pakistan in relation to this video and you will realize Americas true intention in Afghanistan.

ISI boys during Hamid Gul's and Asad Durrani's time knew this fact. There is a reason why Hamid Gul and Asad Duraani are immensely hated in American and Indian circles. They are the only aggressive contemporary Patriotic generals that furthered Pakistan's interests.
So by default Taliban becomes our first line if defence?

US invaded Afghanistan to dismantle notorious Al-Qaeda Network in the region - a mission for which it had mandate and approval of UN. Afghan Taliban stood in the way unfortunately and the entire country suffered consequently even though Pakistani establishment attempted to convince Afghan Taliban otherwise.

Years later, POTUS no. 3 in the row, Donald Trump offered Afghan Taliban a way out of this mess, a negotiated settlement in which Afghan Taliban will have a political future in Afghanistan. The ball was clearly in the court of Afghan Taliban but they threw it back.

What else is going to work? You tell me.

Peaceful resolution of Afghan crisis, is a desirable endgame. Pakistan would be greatest beneficiary of this endgame.

Heavyhanded tactics are not going to work with US. Anybody who assume otherwise, have his head buried in the sand.

If Afghan Taliban are honest about lasting peace and making this region terror-free, they will try their best to salvage the deal by bringing US back to the negotiation table. Nothing else will work, mind you.

An economic depression is around the corner sir let's see who stands and falls at the end of it.
Does not make an iota of difference to US, they are well-prepared for a wide range of contingencies. They plan 50 years ahead.

B/W US was in great depression prior to WW2. But afterwards?

Have they planned for gold becoming reserve currency again.

Sir you are absolutely oblivious of what is happening in the economic sphere a paradigm shift happening right in front of you @LeGenD
