Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Friday said that if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan goes to jail, he will understand everything.

Addressing the media, Rana said that with the efforts made by the government on the issue of missing persons, relief has been given to the people. He said that with the way the Chief Justice has emphasized the issue of missing persons, people had already got relief.

He said that there are some facts that cannot be explained in open court. If the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court conducts an in-camera hearing, it can help to solve the problem.

Expressing his views on Imran Khan’s statement of being ‘dangerous’, the federal minister said that such things can only be said, adding that he [Imran] will go to jail, he will understand everything. The ‘jail season’ is also passing so fast, adding that he could have been sent to jail in July or August.

Nothing, he achieved nothing till now - you cant praise someone just based on potential

Our democracy is still controlled by the army, if he is a good leader - he'll reign in the army generals, teach them their aukaat
Our economy is nowhere - if he is a good leader, he'll lead us towards becoming an economic powerhouse
If he is a good leader, he'll strengthen our national identity and unity
Is he building up PTI as an institutional party that can help Pakistan grow even after him- PTI wont even survive after him forget helping Pakistan

For all this you can say, it'll happen under him, but when that happens - we'll consider him a great leader but not now
You have to do it to earn it

Let's stop worshipping individuals, nations only grow through institutions- if he turns PTI into a proper institutional party with a legacy that can function and thrive without him ,if he strengthens our bureaucracy

Our economy was touching 400 billion for the first time
Could have Crossed next year
GDP growth was 5.5%+ for consecutive years the first time in 15 years
Exports were crossing 30 billion dollars
He achieved all this despite Covid.

Regarding the controlled democracy he's first one who was preferred by Public over military

Let him get back in powe he's definitely gonna put these generals in place.
And then Pakistan will achieve political stability which can lead us to economic stability


But the reason for him being leader is he has taught this nation the demand their rights and justice.
