In Order to safeguard long term future for Pakistan, Pakistan approached International Loan program run by IMF

• In order to implement successful reforms aimed at the long term, Pakistan allowed executives from Overseas to come to Pakistani and Join Pakistan's implementation team. The people who came were Pakistani Nationals working overseas with vast credentials to understand financial aspects of IMF deal
• Imran Khan did not show slowness in making changes if it helped Pakistan's Ultimate cause, fixing a broken system

Fixing the Broken Tax Collection Mechanism

Immediately after attaining the IMF loan, Government started initiatives to start making reforms in Tax collection mechanism

• Focus was made to make Tax collection simple
• People were given a grace period to declare their offshore properties
• People were given indication to Pay taxes on offshore assets for nominal tax charges
• Continued effort was made to grow the figures for Tax Payers
• FBR reported growth in Tax Payer's Numbers
• Also, businesses took paying Taxes seriously

On other grounds, NAB launched initiatives to tackle assets beyond means against Politicians in order to track their financial money-making process. Various Political bodies were captured and rightly persecuted for Tax evasion and holding assets beyond means

External Security:

Feb 25th-27th Pakistan faced an International Threat, an attack from India
Prime Minister Imran Khan, enabled our Military and Airforce and Navy to respond to an emerging threat in order to protect our National Interest and as result 2 enemy crafts were downed and Pilot captured

In order to promote peace, he allowed the captured pilot to be returned back to aggressor party (i.e India)

Revival of PIA:

State-owned airlines were given a Hardworking man with Ex Airforce experience in order to make the state airline more efficient. All of the free ticket culture was curbed in order to make the carrier more efficient and able to generate revenues

As a result, now PIA is growing its revenues

It makes reading your posts a delight, many veterans on this forum just cluster a lot of information altogether in one large 1000 words* paragraph.. which usually is difficult for someone my age to process all at once.

Well it is a learning experience for all, I have learned a great deal from fellow Pakistanis posting their views and also from various International posters from Europe/ China/Turkey and North America

I feel our Media, in general, does not have a capacity to view positive stuff happening in our country, and it is important for us Pakistanis to raise awareness of the positive stuff

There is a poster @ghazi52 who posts articles on Pakistan/Economy on PDF who I am quite impressed with thru his posts I get to see various stuff happening also on Development side quite appreciative of his contribution

Similarly, the folks who post valuable insight into JF17 Program and other information news about Pakistan's defense sector are a great joy to read

While I agree that there are a lot of good things on paper, there is no proper implementation.

Financial package for Karachi released but God knows where it is being spent.

Tax collection mechanism has been sought to improve but then for some reason FBR still keeps missing its tax target by a huge margin.
Many new trains set for service but the service has degraded, and most of all, trains are no longer coming on time.

Lots of financial packages, but at the same time, lots of inflation and uncertainty of economic stability. Foreign reserves aren't rising.

Lots of things changed on paper, but action on ground is minimal.

Bureaucracy. Those that fail to perform take away their benefits, if the continue to fail find them another job, I think its important for us to digitize all government institutions, to prevent corruption/bribes.. The government can only pass the laws, it's the bureaucracy job to implement them.. and clearly they are doing a sh1t job

The issue at hand is

• Civilians must start to sue Sindh Government if they don't see action, sue them in Supreme court of Pakistan

(Important point here) The way Pakistan works constitutionally is Federal Government (Imran Khan) releases funds to Provinces, and the ruling party then distributes the fundings
This is in the constitution of Pakistan

Until this system exists (also called 18th amendment) , PPP will continue to get money and they in their part will claim they have no money



So majority of crisis in Sindh is due to People's Party Pakistan (PPP) , getting money and not able to deliver internally in Sindh



Inflation is tied to Loans, Until People will pay taxes loans will accumulate and inflation will rise. The curse of inflation can only be broken if people Pay Taxes

• If 40-50 Million people will pay taxes, the government will not need an external loan
• Loans will be paid down, inflation will decrease

When a press release is issued from Federal Government, funds are released, it is a notification now ball is in Sindh Government hand


Year 2019-2020 Sindh government has access to 7.5 Billion Dollars
2019-2020 Sindh Government is also sitting on 1.5 Billion Dollar special Package for Karachi




If people want Federal Intervention (Imran Khan's government to fix Sindh) they have to demand, cancellation of 18th Amendment

Meaning of Amendment ....."It means a consitution rule was altered, so lawyer use this terminology called Amendment"

PPP specially made this "Change" so money would come to Provincial Government

Curfew is still there. Indians are making troop movements. Special Bongi Division is doing exercise smelling field. IAF bases on high alert. Their para SF is terrorizing unarmed Kashmiris.

And on our side there is usual fan boy attitude of Imran Khan and chirping crickets. And the PakMil is asking Kashmiris to make a choice #MakeAChoice was posted by DG ISPR himself.
They have already made a choice. They fighting a vicious, armed to the teeth enemy with mere sticks and stones, they have no food, no healthcare, no resources. What more choice do you want out of them??
