PM vows to complete CPEC at any cost

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday expressed a resolve that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project would be completed at any cost to pass on its benefits to nationals.
He stated this while reviewing progress on the CPEC projects in a meeting which was attended by Federal ministers Asad Umar, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar and Omar Ayub, Commerce Advisor Abdur Razzak Dawood, CPEC Authority Chairman Lt General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa and others.
Terming the CPEC an excellent project for socioeconomic progress of the country, he said that the multi-billion dollar project would guarantee a bright future for Pakistanis.
He said that the CPEC is the manifestation of Pakistan-China friendship.
The prime minister appreciated the performance of the CPEC authority and directed officials to boost up its capability and working.
