Imran Khan & Pak Army Chief Bajwa are on the same page on ‘foreign conspiracy' : Fawad Chaudhry

Nothing could be further from the truth...

Bajwa's statement with regards to Russia and US, at the ISL security dialogue in direction contradiction of PMIK's foreign policy stance tells a very different story.

Also the 'leak' to Reuters and The Express Tribune from an 'official from a security agency on the condition of anonymity' saying that the security agencies didn't share PM IK's view on the apparent conspiracy and that (presumably) the COAS and DG ISI never signed the NSC meeting minutes, meaning they don't have as much legal weight.

This is open insubordination. But of course the people running this forum freak out if the truth is spoken.

The notes will be presented before the courts at some point so we'll see if these so called leaks are true.

I read a lot of football transfer gossip in the British press and these "leaks" sound very similar to them. Journalists being fed shit to further an agenda.

Agreed.

But for anyone with a functioning intellect and some historical insights, it's pretty obvious where the current two most powerful uniformed (though one currently wears a suit due to his posting) stand.

Could the Indian Army Chief dare to make such comments about Russia/Ukraine at a time when the PM has taken certain bold steps and is walking a tightrope on that same issue --- and the state policy, defined by the government, is to not condemn Russia strongly? He would have been fired the next day.

Bajwa's words were directly out of a US gov playbook.

Yeah and no there's no source for either of these sources. You and a couple others here and completely falling for misinformation being spread on twitter. Its getting tiring trying to reason with you lot

First of all, you haven't tried to reason with me.

Secondly, if you knew anything about ET, then you would know that after an attack on their office/journalists, they received ISI protection and have (since then) become very close to the establishment. You might have noticed that they don't criticize the Army nearly as much as Dawn (which is a pathetic, treasonous publication --- no question in my mind).

Thirdly, given the above, do you think ET can casually use phrasing that everybody in Pakistan and abroad knows refers to the ISI ('security agency official') if nobody in the ISI approved it?

Finally, if you think that Bajwa has not or does not undermine IK / the govt, then I suppose I agree with you --- I can't reason with 'you lot' either because you clearly can't see what's in front of your eyes.

ALL fauj insiders know that their relationship soured after the DG ISI appointment fiasco. That doesn't mean he's actively planning to oust IK every waking minute. Obviously not. I'm not suggesting that. But certain trends seem pretty obvious.

Finally, just because I disagree with your analysis (which seems to be that Bajwa is 100% behind IK and cares more for the country than his own position --- don't forget that this is the guy who forced his own extension, a reputation- and institution-destroying move), doesn't mean I'm peddling some totally made up conspiracy theory. Nobody knows what's happening. Everybody is making informed guesses, including both of us.

My 2c :)

I disagree with your analysis, but I guess we'll only know when the results are out

@Wood what's up with random laugh reacts?
I saw this interview yesterday. I also found it strange that a sitting minister from Pakistan would give interview to YT channel in India. My laugh reaction is for the strange coincidence in our opinion. Strange because your opinion is that of a Pakistani.

I put a laugh reaction whenever I find something that gives me a chuckle. It is a reflection of what I feel as I read posts. It does not reflect on your comment in any way
