Imran Khan, former cricketer and now leader of the political party Pakistan Movement For Justice, has criticised US military action in Pakistan.

He told the BBC's Andrew Marr that US drone attacks on suspected militants are "totally counter-productive", and have led to increased violence in Pakistan.

The politician cautioned that the "unwinnable war" in the region will never be settled militarily, but that the answer lies in "political settlement."

The Brookings Institution report has said there is a high proportion of civillian deaths.

The London-based Bureau of Investigative has said upto 168 children have been killed.

This is nothing but state terrorism. Drones should be used against Indian soldiers in Kashmir if they really want use them.

Afghan Taliban, Pakistan Taliban and AQ are all different entities. Once the invaders leave the region all reasons for fighting will end, talks then would finalise peace.

I personally don't care about the Taliban. They can rule Afghanistan and parts of Pakistan for all I care.

I just don't want that region to be used for exporting terrorism worldwide and giving refuge to international terrorists.

This is not correct as the reasons of fighting for AQ and TTP and all groups who support that ideology is very different from much of the Afghan Taliban. The hardcore AQ ideology is for global "jihad" that starts from Khorasan and turns both Afghanistan and Pakistan into their empire where their version of shariah is implemented.

They will keep fighting unless either Pakistan surrenders to them or they are all killed off. Imran Khan and his internet fan group simply does not understand this.

Exactly and that is what Imran Khan has been saying all along. Military is not the only solution but it should be a part of political solution.

Contrary to what you have said, Imran Khan is the only politician who had the foresight to understand that this war cannot be won by militarily right from the word go when Musharaff sent the army to FATA in 2004. Also he predicted that the terrorism and extremism will only increase in Pakistan if military operations do not stop.

Rubbish Al-CIAda is a made up organisation. The videos of men jumping over bars and rolling under them are from the Russian occupation. People in Afghanistan and other places are fighting for political reasons not because their religion says so.
