Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is likely to visit Bangladesh in May of this year to attend a conference of D-8 nations.

Bangladesh is going to hold the conference in Dhaka on May 30 and 31.

Dhaka is now seeking information whether there is any objection of any head of states of the member countries of D-8 for holding conference at that time, says media report.
As part of the proposed conference in May, Dhaka sent a letter to Pakistan Foreign Ministry through Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad seeking opinion of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In a seminar, Nur-E-Helal, Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner posted in Karachi, said Pakistan Prime Minister has been invited for D-8 conference in Dhaka.

Imran Khan will take part in the conference and the relationship between the two nations will be strengthened further through his visit to Bangladesh, he hoped.

I hope Pakistani didn't forget how Bangladesh supported India when SAARC conference was supposed to be held in Pakistan.

We should stay out of Bangladesh. Besides, whatever that is going to happen to Bangladesh in the aftermath of CAA-NRC , we should enjoy watching that with a cup of tea.

Pakistan has more to loose if Imran Khan does not come. This is not the other way around. After OIC this is the biggest Muslim platform.

A loser has nothing lose.
We don't enjoy any support from OIC and from Bangladesh and maldives. Better to leave them and curtail ties to the minimum..No amount of cajoling will do anything as all of them are on India's side. Besides, ruling elite of Bangladesh and a good majority of its people hate Pakistan anyway so I don't know why we are even thinking of going to their country.

Welcome to him. It would be a very good opportunity for the two countries to cement the ties and remove any misunderstanding of the past.

There is no misunderstanding..... but just hate shown by one side!
Well previous Pakistani govt. done overboard by condemning the death penalties of some prominent razakars in Bangladesh and by passing condemnation resolution in the parliament. That obviously enraged the Awami League govt. in Bangladesh. But dusts are now settling it seems and both countries need to come out from past bitterness.

Turkey, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria and Egypt.
India is not in the group. So, do you guys think India is a developed country already? By looking at the list I do not think any country will object to IK's coming to Dhaka.

Most welcome Mr. Prime Minister of Pakistan!! Please ask Dhaka for arranging a public speech in a Maidan. We somehow understand Urdu.

As long as Hasina is there, we should simply forget and ignore BD altogether. Besides BD also opposed SAARC being held in Pakistan at the behest of India. We should simply be returning the favor.
Our leaders lack spine....

Reciprocity . Don’t do it... :hang2:
