ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that PTI want the country as envisioned by the Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal, not the Sharifs and Zardaris.
Addressing a public rally in Islamabad on Friday, he said that children of the rulers were ready to take their turns if they did not rise against them.
“The crime will increase if we did not stop it. It is Jihad and we should wage Jihad against cruelty,” he said.
The PTI chairman said that why he was stopped from addressing the meeting and a minister is allowed to do a campaign.
He also alleged that Asif Ali Zardari had devoured Rs 6 billion of Pakistanis.
Earlier Imran Khan on Friday left from Banni Gala to address a public gathering in Islamabad.
He turned down a request by Capital City Administration (CCA) to desist from holding a rally in the capital in accordance with Election Commission code of conduct.
According to ECP’s code of conduct, the party leaders, ministers or MNAs cannot take part in the local government campaign.
PTI leader Asad Umar said that law must be equal for all parties. “An Islamabad MNA, who has now become a minister, yesterday addressed a rally in Islamabad, but nobody bothered to take any action against him,” he said.
“It appears that law is different from PML-N leaders who are openly attending rallies in Islamabad.”
