Important: Negotiations with several countries, including Egypt, to purchase JF-17 Thunder fighter

highly unlikely ……………. I think this deal not going to materialize in next 5 years maybe after 2025....

.
This purchase will only be materialize when Israel will feel safe about this, otherwise Sisi will not dare to go against his masters, he is Israeli puppet, They will purchase toothless, so no harm will come to Israel.
or otherwise they will purchase just to take know how of the system to use this information against Pakistan later.

With modified F16s and F35s Israel shall have no danger from JF17 especially till Sisi monster is the leader of Egypt.

.
Egypt needs to go for 5th Gen jets since Israel has F35's.

.
Egypt is not trustworthy... they are in the Israeli camp. We shouldn't sell them shit.

.
There is no such thing as made in Egypt; it is a way of creating employment using knock down kit assembly. They did the same with K-8, Abrams etc.
There are more than 20 Egyptian made modifications on the K-8..and the same for the Abrams.. that is how the Egyptian innovation works..not reinventing the wheel.. but improving on systems..

They did buy k-8 didnt they? Its more or less what they want who they align with should be less of a problem after we sold it to Burma

Exactly - People tends to forget the input PAK gave to the JF-17 project. And there must have been spin off to other fighter programs as well.

And just to take another example from a totally different world: Formula 1.

Why was Michael Schumacher so valuable for Ferrari? After every race / training he gave valuable input to the mechanics about the car so they could improve it.

My take is that PAF pilots gave the same input to the chinese and Pak team working on the JF-17 project. That made the fighter a leathal one -Made by engineers after the wish list from the pilots.....

Hi,

My understanding was and it was clarified by Shahid Latif---that all the design parameters and features were mandated by the Paf---.

Paf design requirements were way ahead of what the chinese mechanical engineering could offer in the begining---.

The chinese wanted to make compromises & offered other options---but the Paf refused---.

Shahid Latif would talk about fierce battles with the chinese engineers but would not budge from his stand---.

Kudos to the chinese that they never took these heated exchanges as a negative---but kept on pushing forward---and as newer and modern machinery became available---the JF17 kept on moving towards the design that was the requirement of the Paf---.

One has to understand that the chinese engineering had no access to a very high quality western fighter aircraft---. The suggestion from the Paf did not only stop at the design of the JF17---it had a major effect on all the projects that were in production at that time---.

these type of news float every year with no practical results ....

I as a Turk, would like to see Jf-17 in Egyptian Air force rather than Rafale... Pakistan would earn some money and if the situation becomes bad between Turkey and Egypt, you can always embargo Egypt for us. (It is an option, isnt it?) But be carefull about teknology, Egypt is an Israeli puppet right now.
Btw, Egyptian F-16's doesnt have the capacity of BVR I read, why did they brought F-16 if they couldnt even have this capacity? It is like a wolf wilhout teeth...
