Creation of Pakistan in fact was the biggest blessing in disguise for India. It created a buffer state between the crap of middle east and India helping to grow in seclusion. Middle eastern history is full of invaders coming over to India and hence India was never able to grow to its full potential after the advent of Islam. With the creation of a buffer state India now has far more prospects where the populace is not involved in a conflict to the extent it was before

The fact is that most Afghans care a hoot about Pakistan and know that all that's rotten in Afghanistan is the result of Pakistan's gross unabated interference in their internal affairs since the past 15 years by supporting terror groups like the Afghan Taliban. It will now take a few generations to change their perceptions about Pakistan.

The border needs to be secured, quick and fast. And it should be done irrespective of whether they or someone else likes it or not. We had enough of feeding them and taking care of them and their problems. Let them make friends to whomsoever they wish, but we need to close the border ASAP, whole of Pakistan cannot be punished for sake of few families whose excuse is their relatives live on both side of the countries. Zarb E Azab should conclude with secure non porous border. They can sell their drugs to their beloved India etc not us. No more. And anybody in Pakistan who sides with them on this should be sent on the other side of border, may be some of them already have the wish to be buried there once they die like their forefather.
