IM men killed making IEDs in Trinamool leader's house

. .
scary news. while local leaders do indulge in a lot of illegal activities, but supporting terrorist activities is really a worrisome sign. Does Mamata Banarjee knows all this?

.
Best part was the WB police destroying evidence  ........I though stuff like that only happened in Bihar.

Yes, we really need to do something about it before things go out of control. These illegal migrants with Indian voter id cards are already changing the political demography of certain parts in WB & Assam, already 3-4 'Muslim' political parties have popped up in WB & Assam with some significant amount of vote share, many of these local parties have questionable backgrounds & links, it will be a major security threat for our country if they reach our parliament (Mamata has already sent one SIMI guy with links to Bangladeshi Jamat to Rajyasabha). There is a possibility that in 2 to 4 decades we will be facing a insurgency/separatist movement backed by Bangladesh in certain parts of WB & Assam if we do not take the right steps now. These are the list of 'Muslim' political parties in India as of now.

-- Indian Union Muslim League (based in Kerala)
-- Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (Andhra Pradesh)
-- All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) (Assam)
-- People's Democratic Conference of India (from West Bengal, has merged with AIUDF)
-- Welfare Party of India (West Bengal)
-- Social Democratic Party of India (West Bengal)
-- Manithaneya Makkal Katchi (MMK) (Tamil Nadu)
-- All India Ulema Council (Uttar Pradesh)
-- Peace Party (Uttar Pradesh)
-- Indian National League (Kerala)
-- People's Democratic Party (Kerala)

I would like to know what other Bengalis are thinking about it, especially @scorpionx and also @AUSTERLITZ who seldom participate in political threads. :)

Religion based politics is still not a dominant factor in bengal, this is largely the legacy of 30 yrs of communist rule where all religious identities were blurred and religious politics was spurned upon. But now it is slowly resurfacing with trinamool encouraging it as a counterweight to grwoing power of BJP,now the urban voters u can expect to vote for BJP in the coming elections as they are fed up with trinamool which is same as CPM.The minorities will vote for trinamool as a safety valve against BJP-this polarization actively encouraged by trinamool. What will decide the issue is what the majority of normal rural voters decide. In this regard implication of several TMC MPs is sarada scandal has been a severe blow to TMC.I expect BJP to come to power if not in the next election, then certainly in the one after that.

She knows everything, but Muslims votes are much more important than silly national security. I don't know how she came to the conclusion that Muslims, especially the legal ones would vote for her if she supports Islamic terrorists and BD Jamat.

I think that lady alone can put Lalu, Mulayam, Mayavati, Jaylalitha combined to shame.

Most illegal immigrants are poor ordinary people, they are not coming with any political agenda, but they are being used as a votebank for people who have some political agenda. That's how the changing demography is dangerous for us.

Such news makes the central govt look so incompetant they are, same with the Intel agencies.makes one wonder why cant they take a firm action againt all of'em including politicians, when u have intel of a politucian working against ur state ,lock tht idiot behind the bars instead of letin' him cosy him up inside the parliment. Why should the IB and othe officers take 24-36hrs to reach the spot even in case of terrorism, why not sack the SP who has allowed all the evidence to be destroyed.....damn to many ques but no answers or solutions to such isuues.
btw can you or anyone tell me if it was a good idea to bring in NCTC ?and if no then whats the issue with it being implemented?

This is indeed a grave issue. Extremists for a good long years have used Bengal as a safe house where they can freely move in and out to other countries like Nepal and Bangladesh very easily. I will come back to this discussion later as I have to leave for work.

@DarkPrince
It looks I was wrong. All the scums are from Nadia, Murshidabad and Birbhum only.

Its a case of few rotten apples ,the wiser once in the crowd are just being used for political and personal gains, ppl on the ground think a single vote of their dosnt make any difference but indirectly they provide a formidable support to those swines, and when they are caught red handed ppl just dont target the politicians but also the one who support'em,they(migrants) become an indirect victim.
