Ikram Naveed CEO of (PPDC) is close aide of Imran Ali (son in law) of Shahbaz Sharif and he has accepted that he embezzled Rs.500 Million out of the power company of which he gave Rs.130 Million to Imran Ali.

Right now, CJP is devising a new plan on how to give SS and NS a clean chit. Stretch it, hand over to NAB to prepare for a weak prosecution, deliver a verdict with lots of lacunas by a CJP's handpicked judge and then let another judge of his own to rip apart that verdict on technical grounds... How can 1 who has corruption in hundred million even ask for plea? THIS should be cut off the min your corruption hits million your chances for a plea deal should be 0!

It is wrong but still followed world wide.
Like if you have been following US politics you would know many people in FBI's investigation on 2016 Election Meddling have pleaded guilty or asked for a plea deal to cooperate.

It is usually offered if they give you enough evidence to catch a bigger fish. In this case of Ikram Naveed it seems this tradition has been followed and they have got clear evidence against a member of Sharif family involved in corruption.

But in the past this law has been really misused and people have been given plea deals for practically nothing which is even bigger corruption. This law needs to be refined in which the conditions of the plea deal should be made really tough so no body gets free waivers any more.

Yes, I am aware of it but 500 million is still big fish for a financially struggling country!

Every penny should count...The only relief they should get as a plea bargain is permission to keep that rotting head of theirs on!

My point exactly...Stupid CJP should go do that instead of nosing around in politics! His courts keep pardoning what other courts have ruled as corrupt/ terrorist/ stupid...you name it everything!
