NEW DELHI: After an Organiser article termed as "anti-Hindu" the protests against Gajendra Chauhan's appointment as FTII chairman, another piece in the RSS organ has alleged that prestigious institutes like IITs were being turned into places for "anti-India and anti-Hindu" activities.

Suggesting that political motives were behind opposition by some IIMs to the government's moves, the article said the Left and Congress "still control the premium institutes" and both parties are "masters" at "ideological control" of an institute through the board of governors and directors.

It has also taken potshots at former chairman of the board of governors, IIT-Bombay, and noted nuclear scientist Anil Kakodkar, and IIM, Ahmedabad, chairman AM Naik for their criticism of the ministry over various issues.

Claiming that non-vegetarian food began to be served at IIT-Roorkee "in the holy city of Haridwar" and students at NIT, Rourkela, were "stopped" from holding Puja in community hall, both under the UPA rule, it said these incidents show that "these government-funded institutes from tax payers money are becoming a place for anti-India and anti-Hindu activities."

"Faculties with low moral are misguiding students. These activities either don't come to notice of board of governors or are being ignored ... board of governors should also be made responsible for anti-India and anti-Hindu activities being carried out in the institutes," it said.

Taking a dig at Kakodkar, the article in the RSS weekly said he accused HRD minister Smriti Irani of taking IIT directors' recruitment "casually" but did not say a word over celebration of 'Kiss of Love' by IIT-Bombay faculty and students.

The RSS weekly has been strongly arguing for the government to bring in changes in the education sector in line with the Hindutva outfit's views and has hit out at those opposed to its policies.

Several older IIMs have also criticized the draft bill prepared by the HRD ministry that would give sweeping powers to the government in running the institutions.

The proposed bill, the article said, would make it difficult for political parties to control the appointment of directors and chairpersons and that is why many people were opposing it. It spoke about officials linked with the Left and Congress being appointed to these institutions.

"The bill introduces a provision under which the appointment of directors and chairpersons will have to be approved by the visitor — the President of India — not the appointments committee of the Cabinet headed by the Prime Minister," it said, batting for the draft bill.

Naik's reported comments against the draft bill have been criticized in the article, which said the "ethics" that are applicable to the Board of Directors in the corporate world should also be applicable to the board in these institutes. "Otherwise it will be very difficult to put these institutes, who are creators of India's future, on the correct path."

So what you are saying is people who have required qualifications don't have a right to be appointed just because they have a different political/religious leanings? And moreover the article above is nothing but a mere piece of work from our presstitutes.

I thought students and teachers in IITs had better things to do in life, my bad. :(
Should have asked those ambedkar and parriyar group in Chennai.

Time to clean up the crap from our premier institutes.

They are our centers of learning.

Should not be allowed to become fertile hotbeds of germination for naxals, islamists, commies, anarchists, separatists, NGO brigade, presstitutes, etc.

not to worry RSS people..................Baba Ramdev is investing 200 cr in IIT....................so that IIT can research on Indian Cows

true story

Truth vs Hype Exclusive: How Baba Ramdev, and a Proxy Hindutva Agenda, Have Entered IIT Delhi

Very nice. Nationalists must take control of all educational institutes. Anti India Missionaries and anti national communist must be kicked on their back. These traitors are doing subversion activities for a long time. Earlier Arun shourie had exposed them. Money power must lie in the hand of nationalist people. Baba ramdev has done an excellent job. I do not see any one who has done as much resurgent work as Baba ramdev. Baba has a great manpower and moneypower. Baba do not spend even a single rupee for himself. Baba's Cosmetics, medicines and consumable are sold like the hot burgers. It witnesses a 70% rise in sale in last year. Baba is generating a huge cash flow. It is the time to divert all the funds for resurgence of education syatem and put nationalist people in place. Great work by Baba. Carry on. WB and kerala has kicked Communist on their Back. People have kicked congress on their back. It is the right time to kick communist and congress stooges on their back. I hope that RSS, BABA and smriti madam to gather shall do it. Good luck.

and you are feeling happy because right wing groups are diluting education system....

Yes. Look at the states governed by right wing, centrist and leftists. There is a bloody hell of difference. Right wing ruled states are shining. Leftist have ruined a lots excellent education institutions. Leftist have their loyality somewhere else and not in India. Mindset of rightist is pro india. SO there is nothing wrong if right wing government takes rightist stand. After all they are elected for that only. The people who are rejected have no right to impose their ideology on nation.Leftists wrote a book on Indian freedom struggle. 2/3rd of the content of the book was how Russian revolution affected Indian freedom struggle. These are ill people. Like a mullah try to bring Islam in any matter, communist will try to bring communism in any damn thing. Their economic ideology and model have failed world wide. So this country do not need to share theri vision either on economy or history where the invaders are termed as the great generals and rulers and our freedom fighters are shown as Terrorist. Kick their A** quickly. Why so much of delay?

what those students in Ambedkar perriyar study circle did??? conducting a seminar on Ambedkar??? expressing their views on Modi??? Do you know those students who is in APSC are Dalits... so are you claiming.... they are doing anti India and anti Hindus moments in IITm??? so both APSC and VHP, RSS are same??? one is student org other one is ultra right wing group... there are plenty student organization in every Institute... none of this thugs voicing against crimes and other problems existing in India... but worried about religion...
