If Pakistan doesn't trade with India, what option does it have? Asking because I presume all countries to it's West are scarce in resources.

. . .
Only Chinese market could cater all our trade needs. Iran, although under sanctions is a huge market for Pakistani products. Traditional Pakistani produce like rice and meat has a market there. Afghanistan depends upon Pakistan for most of her needs. Turkey, UAE, KSA and middle eastern countries are traditional Pakistani trade partners. With the warming up of relations with Russia and OBOR, markets of Central Asia are open for us. Sky is the limit there. Africa, Far East, Europe, Americas, Japan, Korea?
What India is offering, that we cant procure or trade else where?

. .
Trade with China is more viable than India. If a better option is available then why do we have to even think for a trade with India?

What are your views ?

This must be the Nth thread you have created with One - liners.

One expects the OP to put forth his views or suggest options too so as to commence a discussion .

Not much. Pakistan will not survive even a single day without trading with India. In fact if India block our fishes, coming from "Indian" sea, all Paksiatni people will sleep hungry that day. So, please India, please don't block our fishes, and potatoes.
Whole of the time you are busy searching the options, where Pakistan doesn't have any other option. So, for you, even if India boycott Pakistan 100%, we will have only slight impact on us.
But good question to be asked is: Why many Indians have this kind of mentality?

Pakistan and India bilateral trade is around 2 billion dollars. So, they do trade and have been doing so for a while now. Potential is around 20 billion dollars but because of hostilities both countries keep it low.
Trade is skewed towards India because of our size and capabilities.

If above information is correct...
Like I suggested India is the only real trade option. Rest all are non-neighbours or the trade is negligible.

Lay off that cheap desi ganja dude...

Even with hostilities, India is the biggest neighbouring trade partner of Pakistan. Pakistan has good relations with Iran, yet it is ranked below India by Wikipedia. China cannot be regarded as real neighbour because of terrain. Trade with other countries like US, Europe, Middle-East is less economical due to distance. Hence I suggested India is the only trade option if Wikipedia is to be believed.
