Several hundred Bedouins evicted from village in Jordan valley area in West Bank; area declared 'closed military zone,' journalists denied entry

Israeli soldiers evicted several hundred Bedouins from a village in the West Bank on Monday after the army declared the area a live-fire training zone.

The residents of Wadi al-Maleh, a village mostly inhabited by shepherds in the arid area bordering Jordan, had almost all left their homes by an evening curfew and retreated to neighboring villages, Aref Daraghmeh, a local leader, told Reuters.

The displacement coincided with several demolitions of Arab properties in the West Bank and east Jerusalem, which come as the United States is trying to revive stalled peace.

In January, villagers received a similar eviction order and left without resisting, only to return after 48 hours. Almost all of their 90 buildings, including shelters for their animals, were demolished in 2010, local rights groups said.

Israeli soldiers prevented outsiders, including journalists, from entering the area, saying it was a "closed military zone".

This is how the occupation continues and no one can stop it unless a resistance is formed. Yet when Palestinians form a resistance to defend against this threat the world and media calls them 'terrorists'. And the US media obviously won't report on this at all. It's not important. Only report when Israel bombs Gaza. Don't report the sole issue of the conflict. Hypocrites.

Doublespeak my friend, they seek to deciece the world while they continue to occupy land. That's why I don't bother replying to any Zionist here. The Israelis are very concerned about the challenges they're facing in the ME , this comes with no surprise for most of us.

And the Arab league is being idiotic trying to agree to land swaps. Which means absolutely nothing will change, settlers will control the West Bank and Israel will completely take over, even though they almost already have. This means they will scatter little villages and make it impossible for us to have a viable and functioning economy or life. You can bet checkpoints will go alongside that too. Israel wants us to not be economically independent, they want us to depend on Arab nations giving a few million every month and for us to stay that way without building up our nation if we even get one. This is why I tell you this Arab league proposal is a joke. And of course israel and its officials are so proud of it. They are cheering and can't wait to accept it while also they believe it will normalize relations with Arabic countries and let them enter the economic field of the Middle East. Nice going Arab League. This proves Israel never had a security concern as they preach. They just want to get the most out of it and the Palestinians will literally gain nothing.
