Iceland to build first Norse gods temple since Viking age !!!

Hell, even the Greek gods are still technically worshiped. Old pagan religions are starting to become popular for a reason, what that reason is, I'll still don't know.

One reason is hipsters who aren't religious doing ti to appear cool.

if you look at them, a lot of these people are fromprivileged back grounds, well read etc.

No they are not and you never know, in another thousand years people would be looking at the religions that are popular today in the same way how we look at those "pagan" religions.

Yes they are, there is a small growing community in Greece that continues it's practice of worshiping the Greek gods.

The rest of your comment, maybe, who knows about the future.

Hmm
I had wondered why Iceland was not fanatically Christian or very orthodox.
I read another article on the same and it says
that even now many of Iceland's streets 're named after Norse gods and many still have their names and surnames formed out of Thor.
It should be their identity crisis which lead them back to Norse gods.JMHO!!
You should watch the Tv series Vikings on History Channel to know how they became Christians and why they are still reluctant to leave their ways.

Hollywood depiction of Thor as a badass played a part in norse revival no doubt in my mind.

They have not yet reached the part where the Vikings become Christian in the show so how would you know why they are reluctant to leave their ways lmao.

In fact what they have shown is that the priest is starting to turn into a norse pagan the more time he spends with the Vikings.

Reason, the present religions are not able to address the problems of their followers and therefore, they look for answers and revert back.

This calls for a song
:)

What do you mean revert back? Lol, your hindu nationalism is leaking.

What about Ginnungagap? The Mighty Gap that lead to the creation of the universe, no other Norse being compares. Preserver of Niflheim and Muspelheim, creator of the Universe and it's Nine Realms and Destroyer. Æsir and Jötnar are guardians of the nine realms not Gods.

I am sure you are where you belong ............ just wondering about your view of this "ghar wapsi" :D

I shared my view many times here in this forum.. As long as people are better fed, it doesnt matter which religion they wanted to follow..lets missionaries and other religious organisations compete for these people with better benefits..its high time religion takes care of people for a change..

I assume you and your family is well fed, so why is it that your Sister in Law was asked to convert to Christianity to marry your brother ?

These kind of contradictions confuse me. :D
