Their is a breaking news on Dunya TV that International Court of Justice has ordered India to stop work on Kishan Ganga Dam. :pop:

. .
Are they going to abide by the orders?

.
It seems to be an interim order. India must comply with the ICJ verdict.

We could also, in the meantime work on two different dimensions:

1. Work hard on our case in the ICJ for the next hearing.

2. Try to gain as much negative publicity for Pakistan as we can in the eyes of the Kashmiris by telling them how Pakistan does not want them to get electricity and is against their development. Let us activate our propaganda modules in J&K.

If the ICJ mechanism is a part of the treaty, India will abide by the ICJ verdict, I'm sure.

India respects ICJ. Somewhat unlike a few other countries in the world.

I checked the ICJ website but could not find any such news

And only news is in Pakistani newspapers..

Arbitration Court orders halting Kishanganga Dam

The arbitration court has stayed construction of Kishanganga Dam by India.

Pakistan had registered a case against India’s Kishanganga Dam in World Bank’s arbitration court after 17 years.
Pakistan had raised two major objections over India’s Kishanganga Project. First, Kishanganga River’s route cannot be diverted. Second, the water level cannot be taken below the dead-storage-level of the dam.
Pakistani representative had submitted documents related to the case in Hague’s court. The court, which consists of seven judges, ruled that the construction of the dam should be halted at once.
India may now be asked to either amend the design of the dam as per Pakistan’s reservations. It may well be asked to dismantle a few portions of the dam violating the Indus Water Treaty.

The court said that Pakistani and Indian teams will visit the dam site, and the dam may be disallowed.
