LAHORE: Following Indian aggression on the Line of Control that killed two Pakistani soldiers, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairperson Imran Khan on Thursday told reporters he will respond to Indian prime minister Narendra Modi during his Raiwind March.

"Initially I had to give a message to Nawaz Sharif, but tomorrow I will send a message to Modi too," the cricketer-turned-politician said, adding that the march will go ahead as scheduled, despite the LoC incident.

"People from all over Pakistan should participate in the march to display unity," PTI chief said.

"I will show Nawaz Sharif how to respond to Modi."

Hitting out at what he said was Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's "inability to govern", Imran said: "Gen Raheel is representing the nation."

"Whenever we talk about taking to the streets, the government starts to warn us about possible terror attacks," the 63-year-old said.

"We will go to Raiwind today as well."

'Raiwind not anyone's father's property'
Earlier in the month, Khan announced that the party's Raiwind march would take place on September 30.

"Raiwind is not anyone's father's property," he said, addressing a party convention in the capital.

Opposition leader in NA Syed Khursheed Shah had earlier said, "We will never support the idea of staging a demonstration outside the residence of any opponent."

The PTI, in a last-ditch attempt to get opposition members on board, rejected the idea that the protest will take place outside the prime minister's Jati Umrah residence.

Pakistan Peoples Party and PTI appeared to be on the same page regarding the Panama leaks and had expressed their intention to take to the streets several times.

The protest in Raiwind will be the biggest in history of Pakistan, Imran claimed.

The PTI chief warned of a violent clash if anyone tried to create hurdles in the protest.

"Nawaz and Shahbaz, both will be responsible in case of any mishap," Imran maintained.

He should talk about unity and clarify that his dharna politics will not put national interest on stake and we stand by the Government and the Army for single point agenda besides his regular criticism on corruption and money laundering of the PM

. . . . .
Chalo, original march was turning into a flop so new topic to save it. This guy is an idiot! We need unity right now. Not this clown playing politics.

Imran khan u not going to acheive any thing for that, waste of energy, no empire is free to look at your stance and raise its finger. you made PTI a sheikh rasheed's party, sheikh rasheed is deciding your policies.

corruption is only in Lahore and only corrupt leader is Nawaz sharif.

I support Imran, as i believe his heart is in the right place. Having said that, he has his flaws and has much to learn before he can truly lead the nation.

As much as i loathe NS, right now is not the time to divide the nation.

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Thursday said that in his party’s gathering tomorrow he would give ‘such a befitting response to India’s Narendra Modi that Nawaz Sharif could not muster’.

Imran Khan was speaking to media in Lahore where he said that the nation needs to unite, following the tirade coming from the Indian government.

He said about PTI’s Raiwind march starting from tomorrow (Sept 30), that people from all around Pakistan are going to participate in it.

He appreciated Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif’s recent statement on LoC firing, saying that he is presenting the nation’s viewpoint.

The situation on the Pakistan-India border deteriorated on Wednesday as two Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom due to across the border firing, which India termed as ‘ surgical strikes’.

The claims were turned down by Pakistan Army’s media cell ISPR.

There has been no surgical strike by India, instead there had been cross border fire initiated and conducted by India which is existential phenomenon, the ISPR said.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the unprovoked firing by Indian forces across the LoC. Slamming the Indian aggression, PM Nawaz said Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be considered weakness.

Why do Pakistanis hate the great Imran Khan so much. The great cricketer with leadership quality and with genuine intention to serve people. He worked so hard for the cancer hospital. Is the dislike because of his soft corner towards Afghans and Taliban or his dharnas. Who is the most popular politician in Pakistan who according to the Pakistanis will make the best PM?
