I am one of those people who genuinely felt happy for him and that Gillani boy over their rescue, but this dude is blatantly lying. He says they pulled the nails from his fingers and toes and at the same time shaking his hands showing his perfect nails, now i have had a few nails removed surgically due to in grown nail issue and they never grow back like that.

Actually he might be tortured only one way but he is not saying it.

Another lie busted unless he had a cosmetic surgery done, how exactly did he get rid of stitches marks removed from his mouth, as he claims that they stitched his mouth. This is seriously disturbing, why did he think that he had to lie, i am not saying that he may not have been tortured but these stories don't make sense and that is something he didn't have to narrate, all he had to do was show.

Btw he was lashed 500 times!!!!!! and I guess the punishment for fornication is 100 lashes and most of the recipients of 100 lashes do not survive. He is a blatant liar..
If it was even 10% true, I am 100% sure he would not be alive to tell the story.

No. Don't you know he was on holiday in sunny Monte Carlo having time of his life. This 5 year thing was just a one big fabrication.

And he may be garnishing some on his torture but being kidnnaped and kept in Waziristan/Afghanistan not knowing if your going to be dead next day not toture? I would like to see members here go through that. It is also possible agencies have told him to paint graphic picture as a propaganda against the terrorists with whom Pak Army is at war.

From other accounts I have heard kidnapped personal (excluding Pak military personnel) where relatively well treated, perhaps you are right the military did tell him to paint a negative picture of his captors, I have heard this chap in a previous interview state that he used to play football with his captors, who knows what has actually happened, I see no signs of Stockholm syndrome from him, but you are correct even one day a prisoner of these TTP types is torture enough. BTW I do not think it will be too long before he jet sets into Monte Carlo, the Taseer family is worth a few hundred million pounds from what I have heard.Kudos

With that i will agree maybe he exaggerated it a bit because of some obvious reasons but at the end of the day torture is torture no question about it.

I agree. You can tell from his condition. However I invite any member here to go and place themselves in hand of these terrorists for five years. I know somebody in UK who was charged and found guilty of rape which by any measure is a heinous crime. He is out now after 4 years on mitigating grounds. He was in UK jail. He knew he was safe. He knew he was coming out after 4 years alive.

Compare the fate of this guy. Middle bandit country. No law. They might have at any stage killed him or he might have been killed during rescue mission. No knowing when and what is going to happen day after day is torture.

I do think though the military would have told him to embelish the story. I certainly would. Is he obliged to his kidnappers or something? "Oh okay you grabbed me from my family. Locked me up for 5 years but not to worry I will put good word out for you guys. Make you look look all saints in front of the public". Get real !

Don't blame him. I would and I would stay there put. Would not want to say there in case there is Part 2 in the offing.
