I told my wife to keep producing children: UP BJP MLA

MUZAFFARNAGAR: BJP’s Khatauli MLA Vikram Saini on Friday declared that, until such time that the government makes a law on population control, he had told his wife to keep “producing” more children.
Addressing a public meeting in Muzaffarnagar, Saini said, “Until a law on population control comes into existence, I have told my wife to keep producing children, even though she told me that two were enough.”

This is not the first time that Saini has made controversial statements. He had earlier attacked Christians, saying New Year celebrations were a Christian festival and must be shunned by Hindus.
At the event, which was on population control, Saini told the gathering, “We have accepted the two-child policy, but others have not. The law should be same for everyone. Hindus should not stop producing children. When we had two children, my wife said we did not need a third one, but I said we should have four to five.”
In January, Saini had said “Hindustan is for Hindus”, telling Muslims to go to Pakistan, and also saying that Valentine’s Day was a Christian festival and must be shunned by Hindus.
