Agra:Uttar Pradesh minister and senior Samajwadi Pary leader Azam Khan in a controversial statement on Saturday said that he loves BJP leader Sadhvi Prachi. However, the SP leader said that he is afraid that she would term it as “Love Jihad”.

“I love her (Sadhvi Prachi) very much then why does she hate me. Now as I say that I love her, I am afraid she might term it as Love Jihad,” Azam Khan said.

Taking a jibe at BJP MP Yogi Adityanath and others (without naming anybody) SP leader said that the party must get them married.

“I request all to get them married. Once they are married their frustration will quickly ease. They speak ‘non-sense’ because of their frustration,” he said.

Reacting to this, Senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya discribed Azam Khan as mentally deranged.

“Azam Khan talks about being in love with Sadhvi Prachi. He is mentally deranged. Perhaps, he might think like this for his mother and sister too, Vijayvargiya tweeted.
