The term hindutva comes from the book by Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. From Akhand-bharat(India with some mythical ancient boundries) to Malech-mukt-bharat (people with religions which orginated outside of India must leave India), all concepts are coming from this book.
But here is a guy who supports fascism and calls it just. Hindutva is just another Nazism.

You'll need to know that Sangh Parivar is the umbrella term given to all right-wing hindu nationalist groups in India and they aren't related to each other. BJP is also one of the organisations under this umbrella.

The biggest and most influential amongst them is the RSS, and they are in general quite inclusive of all religions as they believe anyone from India is a Hindu (culturally) and that's what they mean my "Hindutva"

But unfortunately for them, It's the affiliated VHP and Bajrang Dal that are the "crazies" and I'd say could be compared to Iranian Mullah regime but not to the extent of Taliban and definitely not ISIS.

But in general most Hindus would not like to be associated with Hindutva as it is considered being a fundamentalist or an extremist. They would rather say they are just Hindu.

Also most of the self proclaimed "Hindutva" people are generally backward villagers from poor regions and you'd bet nobody would like to be associated with them lmao.
