Hungarian companies keen to invest in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, Dec 27 (APP): Pakistan and Hungary on Tuesday agreed to increase the level of trade between the two countries, as the Hungarian companies are keen to invest in Pakistan. Ambassador of Hungary to Pakistan, Bela Fazekas called on Secretary Commerce Syed Asif Shah here and exchanged detailed information on the bilateral trade relations between the two countries. Both agreed that the potential for increase in volume of two way trade should be fully tapped to commensurate with the good traditional political relation that exists between the two countries, according to a press release.
The Ambassador informed about the increased interest of Hungarian companies to invest in Pakistan and also welcomed Pakistani companies to invest in Hungary particularly in its tourist resorts. The Secretary Commerce and the Ambassador agreed to increase the level of trade between the two countries and assured each other of cooperation. The Secretary Commerce requested the Ambassador's help in supporting Pakistan's request for suspension of anti-dumping duty levied against Pakistani bed linen. The Ambassador assured that he would convey Pakistan's request to his capital.
