Also, the test this site is done have given score by 3 factors only.

1.) Screen
2.) Camera
3.) Battery Life

Which 2 of the 3 are P20 Pro friendly. And even the website itself said factor such as waterproof S9's IP68 is better than P20 Pro IP67 standard, the display itself cannot be comparable to S9 and iPhone X, the brightness goes to Samsung S9, and also Kirin 970 still underperform than Snapdragon 845. Not to mention the CONS the website mentioned (no SD card, no Headphone Jack, software disadvantage and fragile glass cover.)

I do read Swedish, just letting you know...

Not saying it's a bad phone, but not worth it for the price, especially when you have cheaper phones that perform better in basically every way.

Apple shipped 2.5 millions iPhone X to Europe in Q1 2018.....So there are at least that many European have bought them or intending to buy them. Apple remain 2nd Biggest EU mobile phone maker with 10 millions unit sold in Q1 2018, Samsung came first with 15 millions sold, at third place is Huawei, with 7.9 millions unit sold

I think the biggest mistake that Huawei made with P20 Pro(I have one but I paid less than half of the retail price:D) is that they stuck with the standard Kirin 970 that came out last year on the Mate 10 Pro. If they put a Kirin 970+ with A75 rather than A73 cores, and upgraded the GPU from Mali G72 MP12 to the Mali G72 MP18, they would have had a phone that would be better than all others overall.

If Huawei do that, 2 things will happen

1.) it will not be as cheap, and the current P20 Pro is not "that" cheap to begin with. Getting Kirin 970+ and MP18 (like Samsung S9+) would increase the price for about US$150-$200, which will be equal or more than you pay for a S9+

2.) The battery won't last that long.

Which if Huawei did what you said, the 2 things I mention will basically stop people from buying the phone.

I just bought the Samsung S9 yesterday and it was delivered this morning

Yes, you're posting in Swedish and the Phone is pricier than an iPhoneX.

Also it doesn't have a headphone jack..which according to the PDF consensus when Apple did that it made it a completely worthless phone and was the stupidest idea ever that no Chinese smartphone maker would ever do.

Test: Huawei P20 Pro - beats iPhone X and Galaxy S9
Summary
The Huawei P20 Pro is something out of the ordinary. Mainly thanks to a small incredible camera and cruel battery life. With a good screen, solid design and good performance, the Huawei P20 Pro is a really good smartphone. Huawei still needs to improve its software and the P20 Pro lacks some features such as wireless charging and a 3.5mm headphone port. Even so, the P20 Pro is a smartphone that is so impressive that Samsung and Apple should be a bit afraid.

The Huawei P20 Pro is well designed and uses luxury materials. It is solid and waterproof and hopes for a new design trend while retaining its own design language. However, the design also makes it impossible for any headphone sport.

Screen

The Huawei P20 Pro has a 6.1-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,080x2 240. It gives it almost the same pixel density as Mate 10 Pro or competitors such as OnePlus 5T. This makes P20 Pro difficult to compete with the detail Samsung and Apple can offer in their AMOLED-based mobiles. Having said that, the detail of the screen should be sufficient for most. Like the Mate 10 Pro, the P20 Pro also has a little too blue and cold image. However, with a new display mode called "Wet Tone", a new color temperature sensor can be customized and enhance the white balance of the monitor. Finally, the P20 Pro has a brightness of 592 nits. It makes it light and easy to read outdoors. Even here, however, the Galaxy S9 + has a head start with a maximum brightness of 681 nits.

Speaker

Huawei has taken a big step forward when it comes to speakers. The company thus follows with its competitors now offering stereo audio as a standard feature. A speaker on the bottom and one in the earpiece are combined to offer high volume and quality. The sound image is still not fully balanced between the two audio sources, the earphone is still weaker than the speaker, but it is not as skew as it was with Mate 10 Pro. It makes the P20 Pro perfect for speaker calls, but it also allows it to work for videos, podcasts, and even music.

Battery

One of Huawei's great strength has long been battery life. The P20 Pro continues to offer a truly large battery that measures a total of 4,000 mAh. It gives the P20 Pro a battery life that is beyond what any other flagship can offer. Normal users can expect a battery life of two full days while hard usage can barely take P20 Pro during 30-40 percent in one day. With a quick charger that can take the battery over 50 percent in less than half an hour, P20 Pro users almost never have to worry about battery life. It's an incredible strength.

Camera

Huawei puts a new ribbon for what we can expect from a camera system in a smartphone. Three Leica-labeled cameras introduce brand new hardware and enhanced software that let us see detail in dark environments that we've never seen before. A new zoom system also lets us come closer to our motive than ever before.

Read more about the camera
Software

Huawei continues to offer highly customized software based on the latest version of Android. The software is fast but can be a bit confusing and still contains weird bugs and strange behaviors that we are not used to from Android.

Read more about the software
Performance and storage

The Huawei P20 Pro comes equipped with the same chipset as Mate 10 Pro, a HiSilicon Kirin 970. It is developed by Huawei and offers high performance as well as a separate processor that is adapted for processing data from machine learning. With 6GB of RAM, the P20 Pro has more than enough performance to use the most demanding Android apps and also has room for development in the future. We would love to see an improvement since Mate 10 Pro but ultimately, Kirin 970 is still performing marginally poorer than Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. With 128 GB of internal storage, it's also impossible to complain about storage. The only disappointment is the lack of support for microSD cards.

I really do not think it would affect battery life that much. Remember A75 cores are just as efficient at the higher clock speeds as the A73 at lower clocks. Yes MP18 would burn the battery faster but this would be negligible as most people do not spend that much time on gaming as part of smartphone usage. 4000mah hour battery would still deliver 1-2 hours of extra on-screen time compared to either Iphone X or S9+

Price increase is unlikely to be more than 50 US dollars and Huawei could just have swallowed that to build their brand for the future. The Snapdragon 845 equipped Oneplus 6 retails for only 529 US dollars and so chipsets do not cost that much in the overall price - display is far more expensive and the triple camera set-up on the P20 Pro probably costs just as much as the display.

I just bought the Samsung S9 yesterday and it was delivered this morning

You can get the P20 Pro for around half the retail price if you are willing to go on a 2 year contract in the UK.

Huawei P20 Pro vs. Apple iPhone X: A battle of flagship smartphones
By Simon Hill — Posted on April 2, 2018 - 6:00AM

Boasting the first triple-lens camera in a smartphone, alongside cutting-edge specs, the Huawei P20 Pro has been attracting a lot of attention. It’s an impressive Android smartphone from a Chinese manufacturer that has shown a flair for high-end devices. Can it compete with Apple’s stylish flagship? Which is better: The P20 Pro or the iPhone X? That’s what we’re here to find out.

Screen Shot 2018-05-27 at 11.36.08 AM.jpg

Screen Shot 2018-05-27 at 11.37.51 AM.jpg

PERFORMANCE, BATTERY LIFE, AND CHARGING
iphone-x-3-720x720.jpg

The P20 Pro has Huawei’s Kirin 970 processor inside. It also boasts a Neural Processing Unit (NPU), which deals with artificial intelligence (A.I.) tasks so the processor can get on with whatever it’s doing. This is backed up by 6GB of RAM. Apple’s iPhone X has its A11 Bionic chip inside, backed by just 3GB of RAM. In most benchmarks, and in real -world use, the iPhone X is faster. You can argue about how much RAM a smartphone needs, but Android and iOS handle memory management differently, so directly comparing them here doesn’t tell us anything.

The Huawei P20 Pro offers 128GB of storage, and there’s no MicroSD card slot for expansion. The iPhone X comes in 64GB or 256GB varieties, and once again, there’s no room for a MicroSD card.

Dipping into battery life, the P20 Pro has a 4,000mAh battery, while the battery in the iPhone X is only rated at 2,716mAh. We need to spend some time testing the P20 Pro to be sure, but we’ll be surprised if it doesn’t have more stamina than the iPhone X. Unfortunately, there’s no wireless charging support for the P20 Pro, though it does offer Huawei’s SuperCharge fast charging via a cable. The iPhone X does support wireless charging and it can charge quickly, but you’ll need to buy a charger and cable capable of fast charging, whereas you get one in the box with your P20 Pro.

Winner: Apple iPhone X

DESIGN AND DURABILITY

Andy Boxall/Digital Trends
We love the curved glass design of the P20 Pro, particularly the twilight finish, with its mix of green, blue, and purple. Huawei has chosen to put the fingerprint sensors on the front, in the old traditional spot beneath the screen, but the thing you immediately notice about the front is the notch. We’re not sold on the notch trendright now — it’s not the only viable design, especially if you have space for a fingerprint sensor at the bottom. It will inevitably invite comparison, but the notch in the P20 Pro is much smaller than the iPhone X’s notch.

In the iPhone X the screen extends all the way to the bottom and is only broken by the notch at the top, which houses the Face ID cameras. There’s no fingerprint sensor at all. The back is also finished in glass, though the colors are less adventurous than the P20 Pro. The camera modules are pretty similar. Interestingly, both phones weigh exactly the same, but the iPhone X is significantly smaller in hand.

There’s nothing to divide these phones on the durability front, as they both score an IP67 rating. That means they can be submerged in up to a meter of water for up to half an hour.

Overall we prefer the look of the iPhone X, particularly from the front, but the P20 Pro is definitely the sort of phone that will draw admiring glances.

Winner: Apple iPhone X

DISPLAY

Andy Boxall/Digital Trends
The Huawei P20 Pro boasts a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a 2 240 x 1080 pixel screen resolution. The Apple iPhone X has a 5.8-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels. They’re both great screens, employing essentially the same tech. Apple’s iPhone X screen is sharper at 458 pixels per inch (ppi), compared to 408ppi in the P20 Pro, but the P20 Pro has a slightly larger screen. We’re giving a narrow win to the iPhone X here.

Winner: Apple iPhone X

CAMERA
apple-iphone-x-20-720x720.jpg

Julian Chokkattu/Digital Trends
Smartphone cameras have improved by leaps and bounds in recent years. Huawei is trying to take things to the next level with the P20 Pro by packing in three lenses: There’s a 40-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 20-megapixel monochrome lens. This is a seriously versatile shooter that should have no trouble in low-light conditions, be capable of stunning portraits with blurred backgrounds, and capture an incredible level of detail. We just need more time with it to see what it can do. The Pixel 2 and 2 XL, our current top picks for best smartphone camera, prove that more camera lenses aren’t necessarily the path to better camera performance, but we do expect the P20 Pro to deliver something special.

By contrast, the iPhone X combines two 12-megapixel lenses. We know it gets good results, particularly in the optical zoom and bokeh department. As cameras continue to improve, it’s getting harder to objectively pick the best, but the iPhone X stands up well in direct comparisons with phones like the Galaxy S9 Plus and Pixel 2 XL. Only time will tell if it can stand up to the P20 Pro.

The P20 Pro has a front-facing camera rated at 24-megapixels, while the iPhone X makes do with a 7-megapixel selfie camera.

Winner: Huawei P20 Pro

SOFTWARE AND UPDATES

Andy Boxall/Digital Trends
You’ll find the latest Android 8.1 Oreo on the P20 Pro, with Huawei’s EMUI 8.1 user interface on top. Stock Android fans and minimalists might not like it, but there are a few handy extras in there. Unfortunately, the presence of EMUI means that Android updates will not roll out to the P20 Pro as soon as they’re released. The schedule for updates will depend on Huawei. Apple’s iPhone X runs iOS 11, which is slick and accessible. It will continue to be updated to the latest version as soon as it rolls out. We’re not getting into Android vs iOS, but because it will benefit from the latest security and feature updates immediately, we’re giving the iPhone the win.

Winner: Apple iPhone X

SPECIAL FEATURES
apple-iphone-x-12-720x720.jpg

Julian Chokkattu/Digital Trends
The standout feature of the P20 Pro is clearly that triple-lens camera, but we’ve already covered that. The iPhone X has Face ID and animojis to take full advantage of that front-facing camera array. Both work extremely well. There is a face unlock option on the P20 Pro that uses 2D mapping to authenticate users in only half a second, but it’s not as secure as the iPhone X’s Face ID, so you can’t use it for payments. Neither phone offers any other unique special features that the other doesn’t possess, so we’re calling this round a tie.

Winner: Tie

PRICE
There was definitely a bit of uproar about the price of Apple’s iPhone X when it first landed. There’s no doubt that $1,000 is a lot to spend on a phone. The Huawei P20 Pro, however, costs 900 euros (around $1,100).

The phones are available globally now, but sadly the P20 Pro will not be released through carriers in the U.S. after they were pressured to drop Huawei phones by Republican politicians with security concerns about the Chinese manufacturer. The iPhone X is available from all the major carriers.

Winner: Apple iPhone X

OVERALL WINNER: APPLE IPHONE X
The Huawei P20 Pro is definitely something special. It has that impressive triple-lens camera and a bigger battery, but we prefer the design, display, and performance of the iPhone X. Truth be told, these are both excellent phones — they should be at these prices. If you’re used to Android and the camera is your main focus, then the P20 Pro is the better choice for you, but everyone else should probably pick the iPhone X.

Not saying it's a bad phone, but not worth it for the price, especially when you have cheaper phones that perform better in basically every way.
iPhones have long lost their edge. I've had various different versions of iPhones so far...but for about 3-4 years now, I've been seriously considering switching to android. The only reason I haven't yet is bcuz of the fragmentation of android operating system.

The premium and compelling android phones usually don't come with clean android OS(unless it's Google's Pixel). This can cause delays in updates bcuz u gotta wait for Samsung or whatever other company to apply their own touch to the new android updates. It's a minor annoyance and not too much of a deal breaker. The biggest thing keeping me from switching(so far) is the optimization. Apple is lagging behind android phone makers...but bcuz Apple has control over its hardware and software, they optimize their software to run better/faster on their hardware. This is why iPhones usually perform better on benchmark tests.

It would be nice if android phone makers could move away from bloat ware, try to move towards putting clean android on their phones, and optimize the software for their hardware(as well as Apple does). This would attract hordes of iPhone users who are tired of Apple's overpriced phones lagging behind in everything.

Yes, you're posting in Swedish and the Phone is pricier than an iPhoneX.

The thing is, both Samsung S9/S9+ and iPhone X have been lambasted for their lacklustre upgrade by basically everyone. Saying the Samsung S9 is too similar to S8 and iPhone X did not have significant upgrade than iPhone 7/8, which contribute to sales drop of both brand.

And if Huawei cannot beat Samsung and iPhone at its weakest, the future for Huawei is kind of grim...

I really do not think it would affect battery life that much. Remember A75 cores are just as efficient at the higher clock speeds as the A73 at lower clocks. Remember that the Snapdragon 845 equipped Oneplus 6 retails for only 529 US dollars and so chipsets do not cost that much in the overall price - display is far more expensive and the triple camera set-up on the P20 Pro probably costs just as much as the display.

You can get the P20 Pro for around half the retail price if you are willing to go on a 2 year contract in the UK.

The thing is OnePlus 6 is an absolute featureless phone, which is basically an off the shell technology where you can get stuff that off market and bunch it into a phone. They are the low end, or no frill brand of flagship phones.
That is the reason why it can be that cheap starting with US$570 with snapdragon 845.

Modern flag ship phone cost that much because of money those company dump in R&D and develop proprietor Technology. Development of AI, OS, camera tech, display tech and such are generally consider more than 50:50 of actual phone cost. In this case, you should think of why Xiaomi Black Shark, which also uses Snapdragon 845, is only priced at USD$499, that is because phones like Xiaomi Black Shark and OnePlus 6 have basically nothing but the chip set....

I am not going to speculate how much different it will be if P20 pro changes to G72-MP18 and Kirin 970 + (if that was even released) But I think if that is a mere $50, then I would think P20 already loaded with it, as the price is nota that different.

About battery performance, don't forget in default, Samsung S9+ uses a 3500mAh battery, so if the spec is similar, then battery performance would also be similar as the battery itself is not any bigger than Samsung S9+

iPhones have long lost their edge.

That is the problem for android. Being a open source code, you can look at it as an "unfinished" assignment, company uses android because it can adapt to their own system and you can make it how you want it to be. Android itself is basically a source code. Although it can use as is, the thing is, if you do that, you will limit your phones operational capability.

The only way people can expect a "complete" android is when they start charging people and design a specific suit for your phone, otherwise it will always be your own company trying to expand a software that was designed by someone else. It can never achieve optimization.

And finally, Sony also uses unaltered Android system.

I cannot agree what you say about the OnePlus 6 as being a featureless phone.
OnePlus has spent a ton of time refining their Oxygen OS and the dual camera's are only slightly behind the iphone x, S9 and P20 pro. It's screen is just as good as the P20 Pro and is just as fast as the S9 and faster than the P20 Pro.

Iphone and S9 are so expensive just because Apple and Samsung have built a brand and think they can charge those prices. Huawei P20 Pro is expensive mainly because of the expense of the triple camera set-up and the phone is a major R&D expense for Huawei as it is a radical departure to anything they have done before.

I was speculating about the fictional Kirin 970+ with A75 cores and Mali G72 MP18 as I firmly believe that it is only the relatively weak Kirin 970 that has stopped the P20 Pro from being considered the best Android phone by the tech community. Maybe Huawei will learn for next time - there have been early "benchmarks" that put the Kirin 980 that will equip the Mate 20 Pro as being an absolute beast.
