Huawei gets advanced chipmaker on mainland

This is a sign of the Chinese gradually becoming less dependent on the US and the outside world in the smartphone market.

The gradual transition to Chinese manufacturing that started many years ago, just accelerated with the Huawei ban last year.

China is not quite there yet as the Kirin 710A uses 14nm technology while TSMC is now on 7nm but they will catch up by every passing year.

If China ban all American technologies, China would collapse. The latest breakdown of Huawei's flagship phones revealed at least %40 foreign components. How far do you want to go with that ban? Companies that indirectly uses American technologies? How indirect? How many degrees of separation?

wow. Exaggeration much. China banning is not even the topic by the way. the bans are coming from america.
