How will the Pakistan-Afghan , Trade in Rupee Currency Impact Pakistan's Economy
(Discuss)

Pakistan and Afghanistan , will commence trading in Pakistani Currency , thus enhancing the value of Pakistani Rupee as more people will be requesting the Rupee in coming months

Pakistani Traders are set to benefit from Greater Access to Afghanistan Market with the enhanced ties between Pakistan and New Afghan Government

.
People in eastern Afghanistan where the majority of the population lives have been using the Pakistani Rupee for decades, and given the cross-border movement of people it makes conducting commerce easier. It makes sense for Af-Pak trade to be conducted in PKR. Not to mention Afghanistan will be using Gwadar Port for virtually all exports and imports from overseas. Both economies will strengthen from this.

.
They already use Pakistani ruppees bcz of non availability of dollars and secondly no one wants Afghan currency in Pakistan. I remember Ghani launched a huge crackdown on Pakistani currency holders last year to crub Pak Afghan trade.

. . . . .
Looks like Afghanistan has formally joined CPEC , it is good for regional trade
Obviously all trades at Gwadar are open to all countries who wish to send tradable good here

.
Pakistan should only trade non imported items with Afghanistan otherwise it will effect our Import bill more. Because we will buy in dollar and sell in PKR will make no sense.
Doesnt work that way

.
If the Pakistani currency continues to devalue, then this would become unfavorable for Afghanistan. Even though Afghans would eventually trade mostly with Pakistan, they will find that trade in USD could be better off for them.

. .
Since Afghanistan's 9.5 Billion Dollars are frozen by World Entities , it would be tough for Afghanistan to do trade unless Pakistani currency is used to do trade

Seems logical to use Pakistani Currency for trading Purpose in such circumstances

Are you sure all? Nondia had it's chance and now CPEC is flourishing we should keep them out until they have regime change and compromise on Kashmir.

Time to form a loose confederation with Afghanistan along the lines of EU.
