how to recover deleted data...

guys I need help. how to recover deleted data?.. I saved my project files in locked winrar format... don't know how it happen.. but i lost every thing that i saved in drive E..... just showing folder name... but the content is lost.... ....

very important data.... please help me...

there are softwares as recovermyfiles etc.......you might need to buy one....it does work on fat32 not sure about NTFS

I tried but no use... im unable to recover least files... i tried recovermyfiles

But are you using XP, there is one virus "New Folder" which makes every folder hidden.

no but when i opened through rar, had seen recycler and system volume info... My project , conference papers every thing is in that drive.... Im using windows 7...

Henceforth, don't use the crap windows 7. Loss of data with windows 7 is the biggest drawback.
