When I first joined this forum, I was not anti-indian. However, after seeing the garbage some Indians post here, I can thank PDF for making me hate Indians. I realized I started to hate Indians a week ago, but this feeling is only on the forum. The internet gives so many people the protection of saying things they would never have the courage to say in person. Outside the forum I have lots of Indian friends, but on the forum I realized I have just started to hate Indians.

I think you are a victim of sadism and sarcasm. Initially you were not but now it is transmitted in you by the same people. I hope you try to improve upon yourself. All the best

I didn't mean to blame you for anything. I just mentioned the underlying behavior of trolling. Most people fall for it and start hating others.

So nice to have such threads popping up now and again, and ofcourse its not the first time nor will it be the last where a.person is trying to bring some sanity to this forum. I as a member here on this forum could proudly say that i've never indulged any racial remarks or religious bashing ever and if i've hurt anyone on this forum unknowingly, i wud whole heartedly regret it.I for one contrary to most other members here am more positive about pakistan than i was earlier (atleast in real life) and i enjoy clearing the doubts(taboo) of my fellow friends here about pakistan, which more often then not are very negative to pakistan for some obvious reasons.

I could well suggest something which i ponder upon why people (well neither me) dont do more often.
We can note a persons post which might be racial or derogatory in any manner whether is religion, sex or nationality and quote those posts every time replying to him/her on any other thread later. This will show the credibiity of his posts in every single thread. He/she would naturaly refrain from posting in that thread (if he has any self respect that is).

Lastly it has been a very enjoyable one year and more for me and i'm more often a keen reader than a poster. And i would thank all the mods for doing a fantastic job here and all the "sane" and "insane" members for bringing in all your experience emotions and expertise to this forum.

I just hope the negativity on this thread does not have a significant impact on people's mindsets, & how they think about others. I fear that people who started amicably with other members have become hostile to them, & that is not a good thing.

Hi Arun - thats a lovely post. Thank you for your input. I remember when i first saw your post and we had a misunderstanding yet within a week we were friends! Sometimes because these are just words and one cant put the physical aspect to a conversation there are misunderstandings and a flare can start up over something daft. I must say it has been an enjoyable experience for me and a knowledgeable one too.

So very true.. I quit this forum for over 6 months back in november last year because this started affecting my behavior towards my Pakistani colleagues at work.. Now I try not to get emotionally worked up with the personal insults etc that get thrown around.. The key is to not say anything about someone else's country that you wouldnt want him to say about yours.. Sometimes you succeed, sometimes you dont..

PDF has certainly become a friendlier place, due to the high number of infractions that are given. At the same time, it's lost it's edge as a forum where it would be Pakistanis vs Indians. It was an exciting venue, and if you don't believe me, people should go back and look on to to threads during 2010 and earlier.

And as much as you may beleive otherwise, i still beleive Indians and Pakistanis are one irrespective of the different races or religions we may have in both our countries.
