It took thousands of years to develop a language. Initially there was one mother language made up of words and symbols with next step of making sentences. As human shifted to other places, new words kept on adding and editing current words. Thus process of emerging new languages began. This mechanism continued till man invented methods of preserving texts and documents. Now instead of diverse languages one global language is in the making. For example CPU, monitor, iphone are global words.

How can we develop a new, genuine language apart from existing words. Do we have to go to beginning. The answer lies in new born babies. A baby is unaware of the surrounding developments. By nature he starts things from zero. So if we raise few babies in separate environment, like an island, they'll see things in their own way and communicate among themselves. This way they will develop brand new words and then a language.

This experiment can be done under humen study project by any university of the world.

Have a look at Esperanto. A constructed (man made) language

If you want to develop your own language/grammar you might want to read Chomsky's Hierarchy

Maybe I think you are referring to an experiment done by some Mughul emperor? I am not sure if this story is true but according to legend the end result was that all the babies ended up mute and deaf.

I heared that babies were put in an isolated dungen , & outside the walls donkeys used to come to drink or something, anyway kids started mmaking donkey sounds.. (thats what i have heard NOT read) i could be wrong

I mean it is a story I too have heard but don't know its origins

When I saw the title of the thread I thought it was about developing programming language. Lol. I actually think that they haven't done a good job so far in developing high level languages. It is only an intermediary between the instruction set and the user. Ideally its supposed to make programming the computer easier. But they are unnecessarily complex. To be fair to them they could have never imagined the uses computers are being put to today.
Apologies for the off topic post. Had to record the protest somewhere.

Programming maybe complex but not unnecessarily

Programming is not complex, high level programming languages are. Whenever they write a special purpose software, they skip the high level languages and write directly in assembly language.

Mughal emperor Jalaludin Akbar did the experiment for his personal satisfaction. He could've done it better but did it in a very rough manner, taking away baby's ability to hear only to check whether a person speaks a language by birth or not.

Esperanto is based on Latin script so doesn't qualify a genuine language.

In the experiment i am talking about, we can see the development of a language as well as a new culture. We may also observe how a religion originates in a society.

For this purpose we may need an island with controlled environment. Like the one in english movie 'The Hunger Games'. But that place is more fictional than what i am suggesting.

So if we keep one dozen babies in that island, we will need parenting. People who will have no verbal communication with them and little interaction. As they grow up they'll be on their own. They may develop their own language, culture and beliefs. It'll be interesting to see. Am i talking about developing a parallel world.

@Salik If you read books on phonics, phonetics, morphology and syntax your question will be answered.

Btw if you check my current avatar you'll find Jalaluddin Akbar was my great great great grandfather. That's why i am presenting an evolved and sophisticated experiment.

I am talking about something like revising history and start from the beginning and produce required results.

why do u want to develop a new lang apart from existing words?

Your experiment will produce a very primitive type of language. Languages we use today are of an advanced form. If you want to know how old languages were like take a look at chinese language. It has an older form than today's languages. In chinese there are no letters. Symbols represent words. The languages your isolated babies will make will have different single sounds for whole sentences in our languages. Like how 'ouch' stands for 'I am in pain.'
