For all the China's reputation as developed country, how many Western countries accept Chinese doctors?

Any country's image/reputation - good or bad - could be due to bias, prejudice, racist propaganda etc.

But accepting some other country's doctors in their own country's health care system is the true indicator of the 'exporting' country's development. Accepting other country's doctors in large numbers is not a phony propaganda gesture but it comes from the bottom of the heart because it means the country that accepts the immigrant doctors trust them with something as precious as health.

So I am curious to know what percentages of doctors from China and India get entry to Western countries like US, UK and other Western countries to practise the medical profession.

. . . .
Actually many Chinese doctors get into usa medical system.
Arab Countries recognize them on par with other developing nations

China has some prestigious medical colleges, but as a whole India produces better quality doctors.

Acceptance of foreign doctors perse can't be taken as maturity of health care system because any foreign national accepts others only basing on it's need.

What do you know then?

That I read PDF regularly; at least once every two or three days, if not daily.
That I find perhaps two or three threads of interest, the majority being a waste of time.
That I fear to take part in even those two or three, for the reason that both green and saffron bhakts are getting increasingly coarse and foul-mouthed.
That even in this wilderness, there remain a few good souls who are worth talking to.
That at the end, none of this is going to make a difference.

For all the China's reputation as developed country

They never claimed what youve assumed.

how many Western countries accept Chinese doctors?

Imo not many as Chinese medical practitioners prefer to serve their homeland.

As for the rest, allow me to assume that its a pathetic attempt to hook white sanction?

You still need to get Canadian qualifications if you want to practice being a doctor here. This is due to keeping supply low so existing doctors can make more money and not about whether you're qualified or not. Canada produces 100 doctors a year . That's the quota. It's a sad state of health Care. Doctors here are like business men. They will implode the Canadian healthcare system soon.

Anyone who passes the USMLE, all state board examinations, and completes residency is eligible to practice in the United States (similar situation for Canada although it's a different set of exams). If you are referring to Visa grants to those holding professional degrees (like M.D.), there are other factors that might affect one's chance of entering the United States (such as their country of origin and experience).

So, we can't draw any conclusions regarding any country from how many physicians it "exports" to the United States.

That's not the reason. There are stories galore of horrific incompetence and corruption by Chinese doctors. You don't get to hear of it because China is a very opaque country.

Pray tell me how else would you judge how developed the two countries are? On one hand the West is biased against India. On the other hand, in their propaganda they make it look like they favour India. Don't believe me? Allow me to educate you. Below examples show that the West is not a well-wisher of India.

1. The movie 'Slumdog Millionaire': Clearly a racist movie.

2. Purulia arms drop case: The Purulia arms drop case is the legal case regarding an incident on 17 December 1995 in which unauthorised arms were dropped from an Antonov An-26 aircraft in Purulia district in the state of West Bengal in India.

3. American and Scandinavian NGOs were behind the anti-nuclear protests against nuclear power plant in Tamil Nadal.

4. The racist documentary "India's daughter" about rapes in India. What purpose did it serve?

These examples are just tip of the icebergs.

But when it comes to accepting doctors for their own country, the West doesn't indulge in pretence. They want only the best because it's a question of health.

The reports about Chinese and Indian economy, statistics, rankings, praise or criticism and all can be lies.

But no lies when recruiting immigrants for the sensitive profession of medical care.

Becoming a doctor in foreign country is contingent upon passing local medical licensing exam, which also require a good command of the language. Some countries give preference to candidate with similar accreditation system. It has little to do with country's image or reputation. There are certainly more Indian doctors in the west. Most Indians prefer to strike out overseas if they can. Indians also have English language advantage over Chinese. Many Indians speak English as first language with little accent. A British patient would've trouble understanding Chinese or Korean doctor speaking in their broken English.

If you only knew stories about Indian doctors here.

.
Indians followed by Philippines, pakistan and Egypt. Very few Chinese docs here

Per capita iys though clearly Philippines with close Pakistan

Things changing as its very tough for Pakistani docs to compete due to visa bias..net result generally speaking in my opinion Pakistani docs are much high achievers

Really foreign docs in USA more depend upon situation rather than talent

If I'm not wrong, every country reguires a foreign medical practitioner to clear a competitive exam to acquire a license to practice in the respective nation.

Even though I don't suspect the quality of doctors from China since I haven't encountered on in my entire life (not even in Singapore while I was working there), but given the quality of health care provided as a whole in China, I guess there is very little to suspect on their knowledge.

I think more than quality, it's the language barrier that's keeping the away from foreign countries. :-)

P.S: Don't expect real Chinese's (especially doctors) to use English, because they rearly dont understand it, let alone use it. Don't get carried away by the overwhelming number of English speaking Chinese experts here in PDF. The reality is far from truth. LOL :p:
