How do some Bangladeshis get Indian NID and Passport?

I have this question to Indian members. How do Bangladeshis get Aadhar Card (NID), Indian Voter ID Card & Indian Passport?

This news is from Yesterday. Surprising how Indians themselves give Aadhar Cards to Bangladeshi citizens and then complain about it.

there are big gangs who provides forged documents to get real aadhar and passports.Bangladeshis pay hefty amount for that.One such gang got busted few months back.

Anyone can get Aadhar card. Actually you are giving your fingerprint and retina to a system. Which government has no problem. Foreigners can get aadhar if they want
But I guess passport may be forged. Or illegal immigrants who got ration cards. There are gangs working along border for this forgery alone.

Issuing Aadhar card and voter ID cards are a centralized process, however collecting the data for the same is mostly outsourced to different government and few NGO's. The basic things that they cross check before adding an individual is whether he/she is having a local address and have a ration card or any state government approved cards. Ironically to generate adequate vote, the respective representative and politicians in some areas are still helping illegal immigrants in getting those. And those immigrants are staying here for a long time now are sure to carry multiple ID's issues by state governments.
