Is this Lahore or some other city in CP?
I think responses are cherry picked- most interviews of people I saw on local city based tv were not very nice

Maybe after sehat card things may change- who knows

It is incredible that IK was able to pull this off. Over time, if allowed to remain in place, it will be recognized as one of the greatest gifts that IK has given to this nation. In the short term though, people still do not realize how revolutionary this is. The opposition knows this. That's why they're in a hurry to remove him.

Made situation worse. They have made a separate category for sehat card holders, which are just ignored.

Imran should do three simple things :

1. Nationalize the existing clinics and hospitals and make their services available for free to the citizens.

2. Build new free clinics at neighborhood level and new free hospitals at city / town level.

3. If a certain treatment is not available in the country then the government should pay for the treatment of the citizen abroad.

Thus the real Sehat Card will be simply be the citizenship card of every citizen.

Such a system existed in Libya before the 2011 invasion. Free healthcare is the indication of a leftist governance system. There is no rational reason why it can't be done in Pakistan too, or anywhere else.

Basically like the NHS here in the uk.

Then the NHS is good if the government doesn't extract the healthcare fee from the citizens through other ways : Insurance and other taxes from the citizens all year round. Is this the case ? Also, I don't think the British government pays for the treatment of British citizens who are unable to obtain treatment in Britain, say because of queue because of lesser number of hospitals or say because of organ unavailability, and thus the patients having to go abroad to say India to cities like Delhi, Bangalore and Madras to obtain the treatment.

Sehat card is applicable to where? Only for punjabis and pukhtuns? I didn't see it in sindh and Balochistan.

There are hundreds of hospitals affiliated with sehat insaf card. Many small hospitals are being developed by private sector and linked to sehat card. The college where I teach have a similar hospital adjucent to it which specifically serve sehat card holders. I have never seen out patients in that hospitals, only those with sehat cards.

yes the government does make us pay for the NHS from other methods, taxes etc, but it costs around £360 billion annually to run the NHS. The NHS does pay for abroad treatments, but only at Europe and Switzerland, which requires you to have a EHIC or a GHIC. But the NHS also ranges from dental care and opticians (free for student or people on benefit) to basic GP check. Most people do everything from NHS, and the rest usually go to Turkey since Turkey is easily the cheapest and best for uk citizens outside the uk, but Usually it’s for different surgeries which the nhs does not cover such as hair transplant.

Actually, you should do basic research before commenting crap.
sehat card is everywhere (GB, AK, Punjab, Balochistan, KPK, Islamabad) and the government is bringing it to Karachi However Sindh government is refusing to join the health insurance program.

Sindh government won't allow it. Fed can't do shit about that... It can not indulge itself in this saas bahu shit with Sindh government.

Except Sindh, whole of KP is covered by sehat card since 3 years. I think whole of Punjab will be covered by end of this year. Also it is expanding to all parts of Baluchistan. It's every where but needs unbiased and open eyes to see.

Some new sources claim health card is ground breaking

What do you guys think

Overseas pakistanis are now allowed to vote

Sehat card has been ground breaking in KPK. This question is directed towards punjab

I didn't select any options because what I believe isnt in options. It's a big deal. One should ask American or Europeans who pay alot for medical insurance. But then people are retarded and Dont know the impact of sehat card on Pakistani citizen life. So I think it won't do much good for PTI
