Life don't work out the way you wish, you just can't claim the territory without the opposition. Doesn't matter how great your military might, when the whole world united China won't stand a chance. Ask Hitler and Japan during WW2, they find out the outcome of waging war against the whole world.

When did two bottom of the barrel third world country become the world? At best we include Japan.

The US with recent actions is less and less likely to be involved. As time goes on and our military becomes even stronger, the US would not go into it. Which president is confident that losing 50-100 thousand men will result in reelection, nobody. There's also MAD.
