Houthi rebels strike an oil facility in the port city in an attack confirmed by Saudi authorities.

Yemen’s Houthi rebel group has said it struck a distribution station operated by oil giant Saudi Aramco with a missile in Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea city of Jeddah.

The attack was confirmed later on Monday by a Saudi official quoted by the Saudi state news agency (SPA), who said a fire broke out in a fuel tank at a petroleum products distribution station in north Jeddah “as a result of a terrorist attack with a projectile”.

The official said firefighting teams managed to extinguish the fire, with no injuries or casualties, adding that Saudi Aramco’s supply of fuel to its customers was not affected.

The oil company’s production and export facilities are mostly in Saudi’s Eastern province, more than 1,000km (621 miles) across the country from Jeddah.

Announcing the attack, a military spokesman for the Houthis warned “operations will continue”.

Yahya Sarea said the attack was carried out with a Quds-2 type winged missile. He also posted a satellite image with the label: “north Jeddah bulk plant-Saudi Aramco”.

“The strike was very accurate, and ambulances and fire engines rushed to the target,” Sarea said.

That facility is just southeast of Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport, an important site that handles incoming Muslim pilgrims en route to nearby Mecca.

Thought & holding meeting of attacking Iran by isreal would be responded by 2 missiles as warning.

You could see warning in its clear vivid way:

The one that hit that circle could have targeted all others ...

stop being stupid.

This is what happens when you impose lockdowns around the world. People get frustrated and start wars. If you look at 2020, there are so many new conflicts which can be directly sourced back to stupidity of imposing lockdowns.

Every step that these Houthis take, why I feel that it benefits Israel?

because you are stupid.

Saudi-Israel have a "secret" anti-Iran meeting. By mere coincidence a warning strike on a saudi oil facility happens at the exact time. and somehow in your brain a process of "reasoning" happens and you come to the conclusion that this benefits Israel?

Im sorry my friend, but sometimes the simplest answer is the correct answer.

Arabs respect power. Iran should have learned this by now. Everytime Iran speaks about peace and reconciliation with the saudis, they get all pumped up and make ridiculous rhetorical threats of "taking the war to Iran"

as soon as they get a couple of good slaps, they start thinking peace and detente.

.
This was yet another pin point strike on their vital facility. Words cannot even explain just how incompetent these Saudi defence forces are. All those milking by the US and yet they cannot even defend such an important site. Just imagine what Iran could do to these people by a serious a military attack instead of these small warning shots.

The only thing im afraid of is bin salman might be too stupid to take the hint. he is a low IQ, spoiled man child that can easily be manipulated by the zionists...

i dont know what the sauds are calculating here. Iran is a massive country in their region. any semi-retarded chimpanzee would have come to the conclusion that eternal conflict with a giant neighbour is not a recipe for long term success.

how can these persian gulf arabs see a long term future in being an Iranian enemy. a country that can take them and their glass palaces back to the stone ages in hours. putting all their eggs in a declining power 10s of thousands of kilometeres away with a decreasing appetite for middle eastern involvement.

and becoming friends with literally the arab worlds biggest enemy.... just astonishing.

But besides every threat, Iran never got attacked?!?!
And where ever Iran goes, all it does is to harm fellow Muslims?!?!?
Yeah may be I am too dumb, but not that dumb.

Every step they take is actully good for Saudi Arabia. This will eliminate any talks of UN brokered peace deals which obviously didn't work and gives Saudi arabia impunity to destroy without playing by the rules.

The Next major war is coming to Yemen. 2020 is the year of virus and wars. The Houthis have reached there end where they have become security annoyance that will have to be completely eradicated and incumbent on the Saudis to take some serious measures and adopt something similar to the Turkish military doctrine and blitzkrieg Yemen including levelling cities to the ground.

If they are not removed permanent they will next fire into population centers which makes them a security issue number one and the removal of them becomes obligatory and it doesn't matter if the saudis kill millions of yemenis as long as they are eradicated completely from the southern borders. The civilians should be warned on before hand to vacate major cities before the campaign begins.

The local pressure will also amount on the Kingdom to begin this massive scale incursions soon just something similar to how Erdogan was facing local pressure to secure the southern borders from hostile terrorist elements in Syria and Iraq. The is imminent

It is an outright embarrassment and disgrace to see Najdi Saudis getting pummeled by Houthis. With its state of the art Air Force and Army, one would've thought that this illegitimate War on Yemen, would have been a cake walk for the Najdi-Saudis, instead they're getting hammered. It is strikingly reminiscent of the Soviets and Americans against the Afghans, and the French and Americans against the Vietnamese. To say that the Najdi-Saudis have lost the plot, would be an understatement.

They are just giving air-support and besides there hands has been tied due to all this UN nonsense. They haven't really attempted a real serious incursions into the country.

It's basically a stalemate civil war between Hadi and the houthis currently no serious push or motivations to push has truly come but that is about to change thanks to the Houthis and as I said previously everything they do is good for Saudi arabia and removes UN out of the picture because it gives Saudi Arabia legitimacy and impunity to strike and start massive operations

Forget Yemen, buy a weapon, the major war is knocking on the door steps of Europe.

And to think that Hazrat Khalid bin walid(RA) came from these lands... Such shame that they have been degraded to this level militarily. ..
