We are pleased to witness courageous women in Pakistan dedicated to higher education and building a career for themselves, even in the field of politics. It was such a short time ago when in some areas the hope of being able to educate oneself, or follow a career was dying with vows of violence and death threats against those hopeful women.
Based on their self-made absurd ideology, which we believe is even contradictory to the teachings of Islam, women should not attend schools. We believe that international condemnation and the lack of support for these violent extremists in Pakistan will change this stance of these extremists. They will soon realize that their ideologies are harmful to the same people they claim to be fighting for. What can we do to make them realize that these extreme ideologies are harmful to Pakistan? Who are they declaring this fight against? It surely cannot be us, since lack of education for women or their violent attacks on schools and students will only have a negative effect on the Pakistani people, not on the U.S. It is our duty to protect those mothers, sisters and daughters who are our motivation, support, and the basis of our progress in the world and give them their rights.
We support and wish for more and more children in Pakistan, both girls and boys, to attend schools and work towards achieving progress, peace and prosperity in their country and around the world.
