Hong Kong Protest Against Extradition Proposal Draws Hundreds of Thousands

.

Why ? To lazy to read your own link ?

In the Treaty of Nanking, in 1842, the Qing governemnt agreed to make Hong Kong a Crown colony, ceding it 'in perpetuity', following British victory in the First Opium War. During the second half of the 19th century, Britain had become concerned over the security of the isolated island, Hong Kong. Consequently, in Convention of Peking, following British victory in the Second Opium War, Britain gained a perpetual lease over the Kowloon Peninsula.

China's GDP top 3 are Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen. Shanghai and Beijing are head to head, Shenzhen bit far behind, Hong Kong comes the fourth, on the verge of being overtaken by Guangzhou this year.

Child, I can give you a laundry list of freedom fighters who fought and suffered at the hands of the British. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Jatin Das, Chandrasekhar Azad, Nehru, Gandhi, Lala Lajpat Rai etc unlike your "leaders" who helped the British.

Bose's campaign against the British resulted in the Bombay Naval Mutiny which was the final nail in the coffin of the British rule in India.

Fully cashless? Do you have a source to prove it? Or are you just lying?
A Sikh, some communists engaged in a few guerrilla ops and a few hippies. Hardly evidence of a hindu army going toe to toe with the British. But whatever makes you selectively proud of non-Mughal resistance I guess. No organised resistance to the Brits since Mughal times, and independence ultimately came due to weight of numbers; I don't know why India bothers on 15th Aug.

Lol. So it's a religious thing for you. Fyi, Bhagat Singh was atheist, Nehru was agnostic. Lol @Mughal resistance. Even in 1857 - likes of Tatya Tope and Rani Laxmibai fought the Brits. Muslims like Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Maulana Azad, Ashfaqulla Khan also fought. But none of your heroes did. They were far too busy supporting the Brits. No wonder you've never been truly independent.

Mughals were quick to make deal with the British as soon as the East India company forces surrendered and let them develop in Bombay. Fortunately Mughal rule ended after Marathas destroying their empire. And it was the Marathas who fought 3 wars with the Brits. Even giving a non-existent religious angle Mughals never really fought the Brits decisively as you claim. But you're not the first one to make blunders about history. Apparently, history is a weak side among your ilk.
Lol @Mughal resistance.
Anglo-Mughal war was called Child's war. I wonder why. :)

And even if the Mughals did fight - what do the Mughals have to do with Pakistanis?

No one who has been in a better judicial system has any trust in the Chinese judicial system. In fact there is no judiciary in China, it is just CCP members with cloaks over them.

I have been saying this forever. China is just too weak when it comes to soft power, influencing people.

This time when I followed Hong Kong protests, I in fact saw many Mainlanders supporting HK protests. Many mainlanders who are living abroad, studying or working.
Please don't quote me, if you only see the world as black and white; West is good and China is bad.

It becomes a Mughal thing specifically when your government denies Mughal history due to Hindutva's perpetual inferiority complex, alters the names of cities and towns from anything remotely Mughal to something Hindutva, and you allow Mughal monuments to fall into disrepair while building blue stuff.

Load of rubbish. Mughals just rolled over and surrendered their empire? Sorry but many of them fought hard against the British - a period of Indian history that Hindutva denies and apparently rejects. If Modi has his way, the marathas would be the only empire that ever existed for 1000 years until the British came along. The revisionism is already taking hold it seems.

Maratha this maratha that. Anyone reading would be brainwashed into thinking maratha empire had magical powers to fight off all comers. In reality - and this is the bit Hindutva hates - marathas needed to form alliances with Muslim factions at various points to fight against other muslim factions and the British. Tipu finally finished them off, yes, one of the many Muslim factions. At best , marathas may have regarded themselves as possible kingmakers... I.e. a valuable member of any alliance.... But a stand alone force in Indian history? No chance. Hindutva needs to give credit where it is due: I.e. to the various MUSLIM builders and defenders of your land. That's the bit that hurts - I know.

And even if the Mughals did fight - what do the Mughals have to do with Pakistanis?

When did I mention Pakistan? Again you are putting words in my mouth? We are discussing India's denial of its own history, specifically the Muslim and Mughal side of it, which was - despite your denials - the dominant part of India's history. Mughals put India on the map. Time to snap out of your hindutva trance.

For those of you who want to know what happened in Hong Kong from a different perspective:

.
Indian troops were instrumental in stopping the Japanese advance. They distinguished themselves in North Africa. They helped the Chinese. You too should be proud of all this as a significant number of such regiments eventually became part of Pakistan Army.
Help? Errr no. They switch side hoping Japan would help liberate India.
They even sided with the Japanese during the war trials.

.
Protests are allowed in China....?
That's Hong Kong not China proper. Hong Kong still has a very different/separate legal/judicial system from China. Their system is still modelled/based on our system for the most part.

What can I say. USA is too sucessful in propaganda and brainwashing people all over the world. They have never stopped bad mouthing China and offering money to anti-China orgnizations like Falun Gong. And China is too bad at this trick.
It's also because the Chinese system is more closed and reserved, coupled with censorship and government interference, it prevents independent journalism and creative journalism as well, this leads to people in Hong Kong not to trust this news outlets which by the way are not really sophisticated in their way of reporting as well. surprisingly Russia by contrast is doing a better job in this regard.

We must strike hard and strike deep into the Falungong and Evangelical Church organizations. Capture their leaders. Bring them to China. Interrogate them harshly.

To do that you will have to go against Israel. They are very close to the US Evangelical Church.

.
I heard that the protesters wanna kill HK leader and her family, right??
