That is the thing, Jet engines are very simple, yet when you press the performance envelope they are very difficult.

It is funny when they claim this to be a self designed project.

They are plumbing up a car's turbo charger and people have been doing it since as early as 2004 that I know of.

How much power it takes in ?
What is output ?
How much energy lost in environment ?
What is weight of whole system ?

Yaar that's not really a big issue. Hobby projects don't have to be in a controlled environment to such an extent. Yes safety should matter but it is not rocket fuel or even F1 race car fuel that such precautions are required.

Notmal Petrol doesn't ignite unless you throw a cig in it, even then most of the time it doesn't ignite. Have tried it a few times.
