I am lucky to live in urban Deccan where the Hindutvadis do things but not openly. Though there was that recent beheading of the Muslim young man by them for the "crime" of being in love with a Hindu girl. And in Mangalore city in Karnataka ( also in Deccan ) the Sri Rama Sena is notoriously violent and otherwise criminal.
