sorry for delay in reply... my connection got hung up.

once in the ( Members Introduction ) section, you should be able to see the below button "post new thread" in the upper corner of your screen...

except for "members introduction" and "members club" sections, all other sections require 100 posts before you can create a thread... so i don't see why one can't create a thread in this "intro" section.

also, the following format from webmaster ( given in New Introductions thread ) is helpful...

So the last introductions were getting pretty useless. So here are some guidelines for proper introductions.

1) Tell your interests
2) What do you do.
3) How did you find us
4) What interests you here?
5) What is your profession?
6) Future plans?

after this you can write a basic description of the ideas you were talking of.
