Basically, Israel attacked Southern Lebanon and then the Lebanese resistance responded. It seems Israel is testing the waters for a new conflict.

You would think at this point the Lebanese could’ve asked an Arab ally to station some Anti-Air batteries, or just ally with the Russians full throttle cause the west hasn’t done shit.

I would not look too far into it. Palestinians fired rockets from Lebanon, Israel did strikes, Hezbollah can't afford Lebanon to become like Gaza. Send a few guys to launch rockets from mobile launcher as opposed to fixed launchers, and call them groups of so and so (hezbollah deceased members), like the militias in Iraq. At same time announce they don't seek escalation and send messages to Israel under table. Israel also indicate to them us, you and Iranians have no reason to fight each other and Arabs are our enemies.

Hezbollah used to be sincere but was corrupted by Iran which is all about Iranian nationalism. All eyes are on Taliban's movements in Afghanistan. What is happening now is distraction from Taliban's gains. US, Israel, Russia, India, Iran are discussing behind closed doors how to deal with Taliban rapid rise in Afghanistan and are all considering over and covert military interventions with full cooperation and aid to counter Taliban.

Hezbollah want to wrap it up, and the two sides are talking via UN to end situation. Hezbollah lost its way once it sold out to Iranian nationalism in place of obedience to God. Israel and Iran will not do anything to each other. Both Israeli and Iranian nationalism is incumbent upon fighting and displacing Arabs. Historically they had no problem with each other. I guess it is time again for the tinfoil hats. Hezbollah sold itself to Iran? Hezbollah is literally standing straight because of Iranian help. It got founded by Iran.
