Its a cultural thing for them.. They consider it impure to do it at home. This is a mindset issue not a resource issue.....and some do it for the tickle

In our case its not a cultural issue but a resource problem..A villager has one washroom and seven kids..What do you expect? Apart from that their are little or no public washrooms so what todo if nature calls while outdoor?
Our women dont defecate outside just the men, they too pee most of the times not defecate ..Dont try to do a tit for tat on everything, it will only fallback on your face.

Thanks for the 2 year old report. People defecate in the open in rural areas where they are miles away from homes. There are also some people who live in extreme poverty and think it's someone else job to dig them a hole in the ground to shit in.

Thankfully nobody does it because they like their arse being tickled by grass.

This report is about a 60 house basti, basti ameerwala which you wont find on maps.perhaps you dont even know what a basti is..Its not a city not a town not even a village, its a temporary camp of people who work in fields far off population where roads dont go nor any water pipelines . they are lowest of the lowest people who have no sense of hygene mostly are non muslims. You are equating them with your haryana suburbs where open field defecation is a festival.Indians can use this report to have a good sleep at night thinking their neighbors are the same as them but they cant escape their mindset with this.

In that case, have less children or more toilets.

Anyways does not matter its cultural issue or resource issue, if it is considered as against the modern way of living and is a parameter to judge the advancement of a society then both countries have a problem.
