He makes a very compelling case, I don't understand why he is seemingly being mocked by all other panelists.
I don't think so, he is good at backing his points. He even compared 26/11 to Paris attack media coverage problem quite convincingly.
Here is the full :

State run or not, we need an international media representation like RT or CCTV.

Basically he is calling for western media hegemony to be countered by indian media hegemony. What's the point exactly? To replace western lies with indian lies? Btw Indian media narrative are more in tune with western narrative and in the emerging geopolitical context india and the west r seeing a convergence of interest.

How ironic. He himself is part of the western media... Another plot by west to fool the emotional Indians. People are laughing to raise the nationalist BP levels in India and have the gullible people in India to now strongly stand behind this guy.

India Media has done nothing but try and destroy India and chase off foreign investment, they are the cancer that is almost as worse as Western Media. For-profit media should be banned entirely. Turn them all into non-profit entities.

Furthermore, what we need is a CCTV, Al Jazeera, or RT. Every other major non-Western region in the world has their own state-broadcasting channel except India. And its effects are showing.

I am confused. Isn't the free media that Indians treasure?

For outsiders there should be a state-run channel. Freedom of speech was only ever intended for internal consumption. It is also good for communicating official stances of the Indian government for outsiders.

Also, outside FDI should be banned for media, to prevent foreign influence.

None of what I mentioned would ban free media, which I do indeed cherish. If you can't criticize the government then democracy is pointless.
