Hy, have anyone here read The book of mohammad hanef "the case of exploding mangoes" wich is about the death of General Zia.

Hadn't known about the book. Looks interesting, will read it! Just checked my county library and they have it.

No.

That an inflexible dictator, imposing his personal beliefs on a whole nation, partly due to belief, but partly due to self-interest, was suddenly, unexpectedly removed and the nation relieved of his tyranny.

There was no hint of American conspiracy. Very prominent Americans died in the crash. On the other hand, there are allusions to very powerful people in his own country who might have had a hand in what happened.

The book is quite enjoying to read, its a bit more like nadeem pareecha style mixed with historical facts. Though it does not seek to conclude who did it , but does explore who might have a hand in it.
