India never had the hold on AL contrary to popular beliefs. Hasina needs India to get legitimacy in International arena. She seems to have her ways with India. She has Indias backing, building and buying warships, purchasing 2 submarines, and the $35 billion worth of investments from China. Only thing she gave is buying F7s and Yaks instead of capable 4G warplanes.
Every now and then she will say a few things about Pakistan which gets PDF Pakistani folks fuming and the Indian folks all gaga. Its a game she is playing and she is quite good at it.

Indias leverage is political and though it they are able to frustrate and delay descision making. What they have not been able to do is to compel BD to make military descisions that is against its interest.

BD have not bought any indian products and this calculus is unlikely to change.

BD military procurement descisions are BDs own....unfortunately we are more than capable of messing them up on our own.

India is the 800 lb gorrilla in the hood you can't ignore unfortunately. This is one issue you can't confront at this point, but manage it. I do believe 4G planes are going to be inducted sooner rather than later.
