The Muslims were rebuilding a mosque on the land owned by the Muslim Trust since 1972. How could this be a land dispute ?

land has always been a bone of contention b/w groups or individuals in India , esp in these days were land prices are sky rocketing... many times the land documents are not clear and this is where a confrontation picks up..

This riot is no different from saharanpur riots started by muslims. it was a land contention b/w muslims and sikh community. Two groups went to court and court favoured sikhs claim, yet a riot broke out after muslims attacked sikh gurudwaras and shops. ...

Meharbani aapki bhai jaan. Jhut nahi bolunga mera mulq aisa hi hai.Yahan har Allah ka banda bahut khush hai. Yaqeen maaniye aap jo dekhte ho haalat bilkul vaise nahi hai. mai bahut gareeb khandan se taluq rakhne vala insaan hoo. Mere abba ne mujhe taleem dilai. Mai hinduo sikh jain k saath pada. Kabhi koi difference nahi feel hua bhai. Is mulq ne hume bahut kuch diya hai. Mai bahir gaya, raha vahan sake saath. Mere majhab mere mulq par kisi ne sawal nahi kiya. Upar neeche cheez hoti hai yahan bhi par humare saath hi nahi hinduo k saath bhi. Shikayat to unki bhi hai.

Khaskar rahi baat dushmani ki to nahi bhai aapki dushmani hogi musalman ki nahi. Aap musalman ka matlab jaante ho. Mera Iman kehta hai ki mai apne mulq k saath rahunga. Isne hume bahut diya hai aur Allah miya ki barkat rahi to mere jaisa musalman humesha apne mulq mai khush rahega. Aapke apne mulq mai jaise hindu,chirstian Pakistani hai chahe kuch bhi ho vaise hi hum jaise musalman apne dil o jaan se apne mulq se pyar karte hai.
