Happy defence day to everyone.

I used to really looked forward to 7 Sept, Youm-e-Fazaia. I used to enjoy the aerial display of Mirages and the special appearance by F-16 in the late 80s. There was nothing like it. One could walk pretty close to parked aircrafts and see various munitions and what-not. There used to be a carnival atmosphere. One could see a couple of fighter jocks in their kits too. Where have them days gone?

I think that PAF does not do much to attract bright young students by putting on public displays actively. At least not in Lahore AFAIK.

There is an Aviation exhibition at Alhamra for the next few days. I wonder if it would be any good?

Happy Defense day to all Pakistani Members!!

It's ironic that people celebrate wars and kills. It seems we are still animals and humanity need to struggle for long time before we start behaving like humans.

PS: No Fun Intended!!
