Hamburger expert Bill Gates demands rich countries to eat only Synthetic Beef

Bill Gates has made the demand to rich countries to switch to synthetic beef in order to tackle the greenhouse gas emissions causing global climate change.

In his new book, How to Avoid a Climate Disaster, Gates urges that it is possible for humanity to avoid the disaster through technological achievements. Yet government policy will definitely be needed.

He said while speaking to MIT Technology Magazine: “I don’t think the poorest 80 countries will be eating synthetic beef. I do think all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef. You can get used to the taste difference, and the claim is they’re going to make it taste even better over time.”

According to research, burping cows bred for beef cause a major contribution to the emissions of greenhouse gas methane. It has reached the highest levels as the methane amount in the atmosphere rose between 2000 and 2017. This could increase global warming up to four degrees Celsius as indicated by researchers.

“Emissions from cattle and other ruminants are almost as large as those from the fossil fuel industry for methane,” said Dr. Robert Jackson. “People joke about burping cows without realizing how big the source really is.”

Synthetic meat is future not only when it comes to beef and climate change , there are health concerns with rise of zoonotic diseases in humans like swine flu, mad cow disease, avian influenza etc as well as overuse of antibiotics in animal farms. As the post covid world becomes more aware and concerned about such diseases it would make future generation look towards synthetic meat as safer alternative food source.

India is actually one of the biggest exporters of beef. They only enforce their religion on Dalits, Christians and Muslims. They are A-OK with brutally slaughtering cattle and exporting as much beef as possible to westerners.

Islam and adaptation doesn’t go hand in hand. If it did, it would become as irrelevant as Judaism or Christianity. After all the biggest criticism of Muslims of the former abrahamic religions is adapted words of humans as words of god.
Maybe you need to know the basics before suggesting Islam adapt to modern life.
Because then someone would suggest make pigs halal because modern preparation process omits any impurity the meat might have.

Lolz seems u dont even know what adaptation means. Islam is a religion that lets u adapt to the situation, given you remain within the limits defined. Making pig halal is not adaptation, letting it be served to non muslims is.
