Hamaseh drone unveiled in kish air show

Its pretty unlikely that the seeker and abadil 3 have anything in common apart from some similarities in appearance, the seeker is bigger than the abadil 3 and it wouldnt really make much sense to go to all the trouble of redesigning it just to wind up with a smaller less capable drone
heres the seeker 2
Seeker-II.jpg

and heres the ababil 3
Ababil-3.jpg

Ababil-3 is actually a license production of Seeker-1 not Seeker-2.

The similarity is too much to be a coincidence.

No, it's not. and as they said nobody has given us even one sheet of data about drones let alone license production.

Though they may have intentionally copied the Seeker design for several reasons.

. .
For real?
No theres no evidence at all that this was licensed, south africas denel did apparently try to offer iran uav equipments but the sa government stopped it,if this is based on the denel seeker then it was reverse/reengineered

There are many conflicting reports about this. The "official" South African stand is that they stopped Denel from selling UAV parts to Iran, but we know that in the end Iran got a fleet of drones that are extremely similar to Seeker 1, and we know that Iran was actually extremely secretive about this particular UAV (it was first seen in 2006, but was not officially acknowledged until 2014 when it was offered for export).
The SA government stopped the cooperation when Iran stated interest in buying Rookviaks and that's when US started to really pressure South Africa to end all cooperation.

from beginning it was for export, so they may have wanted to reduce the sensitivity for foreign buyers and ease the access to spare parts.
selling parts is different from selling drone or license production. and seeker was retired like F-14!

I beg to differ. License production almost always means that at least part of the parts are imported from the original developer.
Also, I don't get your point about it being retired. Yes, Seeker-1 is retired. But Seeker-2 which it shares a lot of components with is not.

in license production, you will produce as long as the original company allows you, secondly at least you receive the blue prints and manufacturing machines, yet the differences and timing suggests Ababil3 is just a copy, by whatever parts they could find.

does Seeker1 and 2 share the same engine too?!

when even Americans don't accuse south Africa of breaking the sanctions, then:

New Ababil-3s are certainly copies. But the original batch was either imported or license manufactured. As there are only reports of South Africa selling UAV parts (not assembled ones) to Iran, we can safely assume that it was a license production that continued (as a copy) even after the end of the cooperation (like the case of G-3) rather than a copy of an imported batch.

Actually yes.
