Hafiz Saeed Shames US by Offering Aid to Sandy Victims in Response to head-Money‏ PKKH.tv
Hafiz Saeed, head of charity organization Jamaat ud Dawah, with a $10 million U.S. bounty on his head has offered aid to Americans hit by superstorm Sandy. Hafiz Saeed is alleged to be the founder of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant outfit, has sent his message to the US, saying, Regardless of what US govt. propagates about us including their announcement of bounties, we look forward to act on the traits of our Prophet Muhammad SAW by helping and serving adversity struck American people; considering it our religious and moral obligation.
He said, We offer our unconditional support and help for the victims of catastrophic Hurricane (Sandy) in East Coast of USA. If US government allows, we will send our doctors, relief and rescue experts, food and medicine on humanitarian grounds.
Hafiz Saeeds offer to come to the aid of the devastated people struck by the hurricane, prove on one hand that he considers himself a respectable, responsible and free citizen of the country and on the other hand it proves the weakness of the allegations mounted against him as a joint conspiracy of the US and India. He said:
Wherever and whenever humanity is at stake, and needs urgent help, Islam orders us to help them without discriminating between religion, cast or creed. When a severe drought hit Makkah Prophet Muhammad SAW ordered to send provisions even though they were hostile towards Muslims in Medina. Following the same example from the life of our Prophet, we offer our Help and facilitation to the American people.
The charity headed by Hafiz Saeed is one of the largest and most active Islamic organizations in the world. Hafiz Saeed emphasized in his message that Islam teaches us to come to the help of humanity without discrimination. He said:
We had already carried out relief activities in Srilanka, Indonesia and elsewhere during Tsunami and other natural disasters; even India was offered help by Jamat ud Dawa during earthquake that damaged life and property. In a similar way we are already helping minorities, especially Hindus in Sindh during the on-going flood and the ones that affected previously in Pakistan. We consider this a morality in Islam, and acting upon is considered as an obligation by every Muslim.
